Best curry I remember having

Stopped in earlier this week based on various internet reviews and wasn't disappointed. Tried their kabocha pumpkin curry and it was amazing. It's a seasonal curry, so I would definitely recommend trying it if they have it while you are there. Very friendly, courteous staff. Will be going again to... read more

Really impressed with their food, but the wall colour felt a little depressing and affected the overall experience. With a new color palette, and perhaps even some Thai music, it could really go a long way! Food was fabulous though.

The restaurant is a little small place. Parking in a lot at the back and you walk inside the restaurant from the back entrance. The food was just great. Prices were reasonable. Quite a nice selection. The seafood was fresh and tasty. Have a full bar. If you want Thai food in Honolulu, recommend you give this place a try.... More

I have been to this place 4 to 5 times now with 2 or more people. Good points: 1) Reservations can be made 2) Right number of menu items 3) So far, have not been disappointed with any food item. My wife loves their pad thai (mild). I like it medium spicy. I remember their pork chops being really good.... More

There don't appear to be that many Thai restaurants in the Honolulu area, but To Thai For was an excellent find. It is 10-15 minutes from Waikiki, but worth the few extra minutes of travel, as the food is authentic, the prices reasonable, and service was solid. Was a bit worried when our waiter didn't appear to speak Thai, but... More

Yay, we found good Thai food! I love Thai food, and I hate when you move to a new place and it means getting disappointed a few times until you find a decent restaurant. After a couple of said disappointments, we found To Thai For relatively close to where we live, and it is now our go-to spot for Thai.... More

This restaurant is a bit out of town. We had a rental car which enabled us to go out there. It was ok. Large serves and there were many local people eating there. The ingredients they used were fresh. We preferred Keoni by Keo over this restaurant, and Keoni by Keo is also more centrally located.

Based on reviews, this was supposed to be a memorable dining experience. One of the dishes was so bitter that we were not able to eat it. I will not return and would not recommend this restaurant.

"To Thai For" is well worth a visit and a return visit. When one of our favorite restaurants in the Kaimuki business area was not open for lunch on Saturday, we wandered around and were attracted by the catchy name - "To Thai For." What an outstanding meal. Our #1 favorite dish was the Home-Town Curry, a type of soupy... More

To Thai For in Kaimuki always has great Thai food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food. The service is great (very friendly) and excellent tasting food.
