My husband and I have been to Salt many times, and while we were initially enamored of the place, I think our most recent visit will be our last. They changed their menu sometime over the last year and they no longer offer a full dinner entree menu; they have a fish of the day and a burger, but the... More

We sat at the table in the corner upstairs. May be its the acoustics, but it was pretty loud and you couldn't hear your own companions very well. We ate tapas style, the pork belly (good), oysters (pretty good), claims (sort of plain), pate (not my favorite), and chicken (tasted pretty plain), I would not recommend the desserts. We had... This place is really cute and relatively small inside. I liked the mixed drink selection. I ordered a mai tai and it was super strong. Drinks were about 10 a piece which I thought was quite expensive. We ordered a bunch of pupus that were tasty: the salad, taco, and peppers. As long as you don't mind an expensive night... More

I simply had a wonderful experience here. We set a reservation for 4 at ~6pm on a Wednesday. The service was fantastic. I ate rabbit for the first time in my life here, "chicken fried rabbit." It was one of the only dishes I've ever eaten where the *fancy* garnishes actually worked together wonderfully (as opposed to garnishes that have... More

Seating was a bit disorganized but we didn't mind, as the cocktails downstairs were excellent and the barmaid was very friendly and fun to watch prepare her intricate concoctions. Upstairs the service was also good and the food was very tasty-- I recommend the scotch egg as well as the burger. As with Town this is a bit of a... More

Food was very bland and overlooked hamburger. Restaurant was vice atmosphere. Service was pretty good. We had Ben told that the food was really good but were completely disappointed

After all the hype, news articles, etc. my wife and I were really wanting to like this place. The menu sounded interesting, the reviews were overwhelmingly favorable. But we were really disappointed. We arrived during happy hour so we looked forward to trying their advertised "draft selection"' unfortunately we were told there were no draft beers available. Although we arrived... More

Worth seeking out in non-touristy neighborhood. Great vibe and friendly staff. Like the Mission in SF but with a tropical flair. Grilled tako (octopus) starter was stunning. Main course of braised beef cheeks hit the spot. Good cocktails and decent wine list.

I traveled to Oahu from Maui with several recommendations to try Salt. Very glad I did! The beet salad was truly amazing. Rabbit fritter very good app. Fish special transformative!! My nephew ordered the chicken which arrive undercooked but the waitress response was perfect. Whisk it away and bring something else. Not the perfect restaurant for 16 year old non... More
