We noticed the lines every night as we walked down Kuhio Ave, so we had to try this restaurant. It was a great decision! I had the curry udon and the rest of my family had the niku udon. We also tried their musubi and tempura. We left completely full, and had to take some stuff home. The quality is... More

My mother and I stayed at a resort near this restaurant and stubbled upon this place by accident. We ordered our udon, which was cafeteria style--mine a delicious garlic chicken udon salad and my mother the bukake udon (with crispy fried onions n green onions in a broth). We also got some of their tempura. The meal was really really... More

By far, the best Udon I've ever had. Kama'age Style (in hot water) with a warm dipping sauce is the only way to go for me. So delectable. Once back in Los Angeles, finding comparable was near to impossible. The long lines are worth the wait!

Driving by, we saw the enormous line outside, only to learn that the wait would not be long. In fact, the line takes you past the counter where you can see your fresh udon being made from scratch in fast production. It really is delightful! The food is both affordable and delicious. Tip: if you take a smaller size bowl,... More

This was recommended to us by our concierge and it was great, very clean and tasty food and very popular so you know you're onto something good. The wait to sit was probably 15 minutes and because you choose your food upfront, cafeteria style, I wish we had ordered slightly more as you can't go back and get more. The... More

Somewhat of a varied selections of entrees to go with wide noodles. Cooked on premises. selection is the same throughout the day. Cafeteria style service. It's ok once but definately not twice.

My bus driver told me to try before I leave waikiki for a great udon experience. After few time walking pass it, I decided to join the long queue for 30 minutes before finally stand in front of the counter and got mesmerised by it all. Udon was made on the spot and fresh! The old lady is in charge... More

If you like a big bowl of tasteless noodles in soy sauce soup with heavily-battered, greasy fried foods as the only accompaniments, then this place is for you. I grew up on noodle soups and LOVE udon soups and tempura but the food here just misses the mark. This is a testament that not all handmade noodles are good noodles.

Very good noodle food with different side dishes. Long time for get the food, but it is worth to standing in the line.

We saw the lines of people night after night and decided we had to see what the attraction was? We were not disappointed. Wonderful udon soup and amazing tempura. Prices made it even better. If you are in Honolulu this is a must visit restaurant.
