The noodle bowls are amazing..fresh hand-made noodles, and the broth..delicious. The rest is tempura, which not everyone is a fan of, but they do a GREAT job and it was delicious. Very cheap, especially for Waikiki. My wife and I ate here twice in our 5 day stay as it was close to our hotel and had great reviews. Highly... More

The line to get into this place is always super long. But that says much of this restaurant before you even eat there. All the noodles are made fresh and and the flavor of that soup is delicious. It looks like utter chaos as you enter with everyone moving with rythmic controlled motions trying to get the perfect bowl of... More

Great Japanese food. It's a cafeteria style restaurant where you stand in line to make your selection then pick items up ala cart. The cold udon noodles were to die for and a regular bowl is plenty although you won't want to pass up adding a few tempura items such as an tempura egg or chicken to your tray on... More

This restaurant is worth the wait in line! They make the udon right there. You can get the udon in various ways cold, hot and even a salad! I had the hot and the Garlic Chicken salad- both that the very cheap price of $5.75. You can select other items such as tempura shrimp, chicken, ginger beef, etc. - all... More

Yes the lines are long but the food is well worth the wait (the lines also move rather quickly - plan 15-20 minutes if the line is to the end of the restaurant). I got the curry udon, which has a kick to it, which is great because I like spicy food. If it is your first visit, I recommend... More

The food was great. I had the curry udon and my wife had the Niku udon. Both were great. Tempura chicken and shrimp were very good as well. Order the garlic sauce on the side for dipping. One of the few places we found with Coke products. Very reasonably priced.

We were walking around the city one night and saw this huge line at this restaurant. And I mean a very long line!!! We thought, wow! That must be a great place to eat. So the next night we went there and we got there before the line was as long as the night before. It was an amazing experience!... More

Found out about this place through multiple websites. Line was halfway down the block almost, but went pretty quick. Everything was delicious! This was the first time my husband and I tried udon. We visited on the last day we were in Waikiki and wished we had came earlier, I'm sure we would have went multiple times during our time... More

Located on Kuhio Ave. Do go if you like udon. People lined up outside for lunch and dinner. They do open for breakfast from 7-9. Choose your udon and soup base, and pick up different tempura to go with it. I had the beef udon and it was very tasty.

We saw the dinner lines and knew this was a must do! We decided the best approach was to get lunch and go exactly at 11am when they are opening. Not long after 11 did the long lines start to build. So try and go at 11am. don't think you can go wrong with any of the udon options. I... More
