We just happened upon this restaurant while walking the street near our condo. It is truly a hole in the wall and easy to miss. There is a small little outside dining area with one table and even smaller inside seating with 5 tables. The food however is great and the price is perfect. We split the Ahi Poke Roll... More

So after eating dinner in Waikiki for more than a week, these places can make your wallet ten times lighter that when you first appeared. Sometimes you want great food at a great price, and that is just what this place provides. It is a really sneaky location but managable to get to by foot. The owner introduced himself with... More

Was taken here for dinner by a friend who used to live on the Island. It is definitely off the beaten path and hidden but it was exactly what we needed. It is right around the corned from all the hustle and bustle but the restaurant itself is very quiet. We were a group of 6 and sat outside. Prior... More

This place is a little hole in the wall. If you aren't looking for it you will miss it, if you are looking for it you will miss it!! It's tucked back off the street and only has about 4 or 5 tables. There are a few outdoor tables as well. We had an order of fried rice, shrimp tempura... More

Coming here for dinner, I really didn't know what to expect. This little cafe doesn't look like a Japanese restaurant, but man oh man, is the food good! We ordered the lunch combination sushi plate which had fresh and colorful sashimi and the garlic shrimp plate which was loaded with sautéed garlic and shrimp. At only 14 dollars a dish,... More

Loved the setting of this midcentury sushi garden. We tried a number of the dishes, on 2 occasions, and all were delicious. The owners were also nice. They have created a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy some great food.

The Ahi Poke Bowl was delicious, great flavors (about $14). We also ordered the Teriyaki Beef entrée (about $14), which was okay, but the portion was pretty small and nothing to write home about. We would have gotten more of the Poke Bowls. The place is a small, hole in the wall eclectic place with outdoor seating, the owner was... More

Don't be put off by the old hotel entrance on Beach Walk. Pass by all the tourists in the ubiquitous Hard Rock Café and look for the signs to the tiny the Hawaiiana Café. This is a personal space with kitschy decorations that look like they've been there since the 60s and you'll likely to served by Cliff, the owner.... More

We ate here for dinner one night with our whole party (5 adults and 4 kids) and it was fantastic. It's a tiny restaurant, probably geared more for take out than dining in, but the owner set up a table outside for all of us. We had the beef donburi, kimchee fried rice, chirashi, garlic shrimp, fried mandoo, the spicy... More

Made reservations for 6, they set up a special table for us outside. It was great. The waiter was a great, silly & friendly guy who threw our plates to us frisbee style :) We ordered fried mandoo, edemame, seaweed salad and miso soup to start. FANTASTIC! Our meals consisted of dinner bento, Wakamwe Udon, rainbow roll, beef donburi &... More
