As long as like Japanese food, not sure how you COULDN'T like this place..

Second visit, first was 3 years ago. Food was great both times, well-priced and with pleasant service. We fed 12 people for $197, and could BYO. Presentation of the dishes was beautiful.

Small restaurant with great food and service. Prepared fresh and full of flavor with nice portions and great price. I've been here a few times now and it's always been very good, highly recommend. They do not serve alcohol, but there is an ABC store next door and you can bring over whatever you like to drink. They do serve... More

Came here in the evening for dinner. I immediately liked this place when I walked in. It was rather small but really cozy with a lot of funky decorations. I was very thankful that the restaurant was warm, in contrast to most indoor spaces in Waikiki - completely AC blasted. We were seated right away and upon inquiring about beers,... More

We were staying at a hotel on the Beach Walk. This restaurant was within walking distance from the hotel. We has a Spicy Ali Tuna and Dragon Roll. It was tasted fresh. It was a good choice.

This restaurant is within walking distance from Kalakaua Avenue. The address is 260 Beach Walk, Waikiki. They do take out orders. This is a very unassuming place, but the owner is very nice, it is clean, and the sushi is top quality, and an affordable price! Salmon Nigiri is $6.95 for 3 pieces. 8 pieces of Salmon Tempura is $13.75.... More

This place was a little hidden, and a little bit of a walk, but worth it! First of all, its small. And its not a full service joint. They don't serve alcohol, so if you want to drink, bring your own. They do have a fridge with sodas, juice and water. You will have to seat yourself and seating is... More

We went here for sushi for dinner and were more than happy with the quality of the food and the service. We brought our own wine and they were quite OK with that. It was pretty quiet - you come for the food rather than the atmosphere!

It's a little pricy compared to similar restaurants. The food is average. We orders three dishes and they almost forgot the garlic shrimp after enquiring about it. Not a good dish.

We've walked past Hawaiiana many times without noticing it. This feels like a local place. Not a fancy space, just great fresh sushi at competitive prices. We went light for lunch and had the 15-piece bento, a seaweed salad, and a mango smoothie (just frozen mango and some honey). Two beautiful salads went to other tables. Easy to walk by... More

I went to this restaurant last week (October 2014) due to the large number of glowing reviews, and I was honestly quite shocked at how bad the food was. First and foremost, I need to do it justice and say that the sushi is not so bad that it will make you sick. Most people already commented on the dive... More
