I stopped by this place on a recent trip to Oahu. It was easy to find and the staff were really friendly. I tried the BBQ Tempeh sandwich and the peanut butter ice cream. The sandwich was okay but it had a LOT of bread on it. It looked like you could choose to get rice instead which may have... More

Except for its location which is a few steps out from the park, which kind of get stinky and dodgy at night...it is King Street in Moiliili after all! I still love love love the staff, the servers, the food and the table set up. Although, they took out the big table for communal dining the last time I went.... More

Non pretentious clean eats served by caring staff. Tiny joint with a big ambiance of comfort & healthful dining. Even a non Vegan like me had my expectations exceeded. Will be back for sure. Can't go wrong.

Great mix of options. Their BBQ Tempeh is tasty if you're into Tempeh. Their salads are excellent, as are their soba noodles. It's a small space, but has a great feel to it.

This restaurant is worth the 20 min walk from downtown wakiki - the food is so fresh and yummy. They even give you a list of all the ingredients in their dishes which makes it a breeze to order dishes which suit your dietary needs. If you are vegan or a raw eater, this place is a must when visiting... More

I just returned to the Peace Cafe on S. Beretania and was again delighted by my order. I had the Heart and Seoul (Korean bi bim bap) and it was very tasty. The tofu was homemade and fresh. The vegetables where all freshly prepared and flavorful. And what made Heart and Seoul a winner for me was the rice--it was... More

We visited Honolulu for the first time and just happened to find this restaurant... We are so glad we did. We had the teriyaki tempeh and BBQ tempeh. Both were good, but the teriyaki tempeh was by far the best of the two. Afterwards we enjoyed the vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and candied nuts. We were amazed it... More

I am currently nearing two months on my choice to eat a plant based diet and everytime I find a new place to eat I feel I have to review it. I stopped in the other day to check it out and pick up something for a quick dinner and the next days lunch. I tried the Popeye and Italiano... More

Menu with surprisingly wide variety of vegan fare. Unpretentious restaurant with comfortable "earthy" feeling.

We visited this vegan restaurant again after eating here last year while in town visiting family. The food remains outstanding! The bbq tempeh, popeye sandwich, moroccan stew, and teriyaki sandwich were all excellent, as was the chocolate ice cream. It's pretty small here and gets crowded at lunchtime, so plan accordingly. We will be back for sure!
