Not bad for a dinner you're only paying $19.99. I'm not too picky at that price. Good selection of Japanese seafood. I counted at least 30 kinds of food which is more than what I can try even at a bite each. Show is descent. The performers try their best to entertain you with fire juggling and dances. Again, at... Made a reservation and was lined up on sept 9. Then I saw that the department of health had it as CONDITIONAL PASS as of sept 8 for the following violations: food temperature, employee hygiene/hand washing, sanitation and rodent issues. Suffice to say I walked away.

Undesirable buffet. Very thin and gristly steaks. Horrible lobster was expecting lobster tail received split lobster covered in CHEESE. Ugh. Not sure what was on it but it was nasty. Too much salt, garlic salt on BBQ meat. Won't be returning.

I have never been to a dinner buffet with such a large selection of foods for the price of $20 which included a show much less to do so in an expensive tourist city such as Honolulu! This was definitely one of my most pleasant experiences while visiting Honolulu. The many different types of Sushi alone would have been worth... More

Having eaten there twice this year, and sampled dozen's of eateries in Honolulu over the past few years, (we are here about 4 times a year), I decided to give my review of Makittii Hawaii. Both times my wife and I arrived without reservations around 5:30 and the wait time was negligible, under 20 minutes. I went there for the... More

Let's face it, eating in Waikiki is expensive. This is a full buffet for $20. Granted, it's not gourmet food but they do have some tasty dishes, Pizza, lots of fresh fruit and a great environment. The Crepes were an unexpected treat with ice cream and banana, I went back for another. They have grilled steak and shrimp too. In addition,... More

Food was good for a buffet. There was a large variety of foods. Even Pizza! The selection ensured that everyone had something to eat. They had cook to order steak and shrimp, lots of sushi. The price was worth it. Make sure you make a reservation or you will stand in line for a long time.

We went here for lunch, and it was a good way to relax in a buffet away from the 'tourists' for a while. Prices were good and the range of Japanese food was good also.

We organised a booking 24 hours in advance for 5 people - for 5.45 arrived at 5.55 to be told it would be 15 minutes - and we were to wait outside and others let in before us without bookings. After asking why...we were led inside to wait again...finally led to our table at 6.15 with less than 1 hour... More
