My husband remembered a food court from years ago but when we went up the escalator & heard the buzz of the crowd we knew it was much more. We were there during happy hour so the beer was the main feature on all the tables. The variety of food available is mind boggling. We happened to be there when... More

We were told about this little gem of a place in ala moana shopping centre and we were not disappointed. It is a little hard to find, being in the Shirokiya department store (right outside of Macy's entrance on the second floor) but it's worth looking out for it. There are so many choices in here and everything is really... More

Located in the Ala Mona Shopping Center. Instead of the food court, try Shirokiya Upper floor Food Court. Everything is fresh. There are so many things to try, you will walk around in circles for a few times selecting things to eat & try...

My husband is big on ambience; thus, not a big fan of a food court. However, being lured by their beer garden with VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE (yes, in the middle of food court), we finally ate there several times. With so many choices, I was overwhelmed at first, but the Ramen place I stopped to look had the cook come... More

This place has an awesome variety of Japanese cuisine and products. Although the quality is not on par with shopping centers in Japan, it is fun. The food is ok and the quality could be better. Service is not bad and it feels strange being in what feels like a Japanese environment, but ordering in English. Again, the quality of... More

This is a must do for any visitor to Honolulu. The upstairs of Shirokiya has been turned into a Japanese food court. We had a hard time deciding what to get, we wanted to try so much. We went around at least 2 times looking at everything. Bento, sushi, curry! Fresh and fun experience. This is not your everyday food... More

I honestly think this is the best place to eat in Honolulu. Everything looked fresh (because it was so busy) and modestly priced. Go for the butter fish miso bento boxes which are to die for and wash it down with $1 draft beer from the beer garden shop. If you have room, try the takoyaki as dessert, you won't... More

Awesome place to go with a group so everyone can get different Japanese dishes. They have almost everything you might be craving - sushi, ramen, soba, tempura, curry, etc, etc. They also have a "beer garden" that you can eat your food in. We also had some good ice cream mochi here. Great place for a casual, cheap meal while... More

Walking in here is like being in Japan. Everything from Hello Kitty, electronics, home goods and foods are all here. I love Satohap and it is difficult to find in the States, unless you order online or go to a Japanese specialty store. There's a beer garden here, fresh mochi, noodles, sushi, drinks, boba drinks, adorable good luck kitties, etc...... More

Food court in Ala Moana shopping mall - near Macy's - on 2nd level of Shirokiya department store. Lots of individual stalls selling a wide variety of Japanese food . Sushi, tempura, Katsu, donburi, salads. It was busy , but we found a seat with no problem and queues to buy food were not bad. Atmosphere was fun. A truly... More
