We stopped in here for dessert. The bakery has a great selection, and everything our group tried was really good. The staff was nice. Thanks!

If you want a variety of Japanese food to choose from all boxed up and ready to eat, check out the food court area upstairs at Shirokiya store at Ala Moana Center. Pick from fish, chicken, beef, veggies, meats, noodles, rice, anything you want. Just pick up a bento and try something new.

If you love Japanese food, this place is a must. You can pretty much have anything from sushi to ramen to chicken katsu and rice. The food is fresh, tasty and very well priced. You can get a glass of beer during happy hour for $1!! Hubby was happy thing here whilst we shopped.

This place has it all in Japanese food. The variety of food choices are compacted into this place. They tastes good too and the prices are reasonable I would love to come back again. But the place is a bit cramp and need a renovation then this place would be a number #1 Japanese food court.

I just returned from a vacation in Japan and craved for more Japanese culture so we went to Shirokiya at 5:45 pm one evening. Definitely no "irashaimase" welcomes here. In fact when I cashed out, I encountered a very complacent cashier - I said thank you multiple times hoping she would acknowledge me as in Japan - none here too.... More

So, Shirokiya was the default shopping lunch of my childhood-- once Patti's Chinese Kitchen closed-- :( So, I have fond memories of sharing a meal with my mother at Shirokiya after an epic Liberty House visit (also, sadly, a thing of the past). While this is still a great place for a quick bite, the quality varies quite a bit... More

This is a food court (separate from the main food court at Ala Moana mall in Honolulu. It is cramped with limited seating but you cannot beat the variety of food or the price point options. I had the butterfish with rice and it was sublime; and it came in a plastic container. Will definitely go back

The place to be on Friday night. $1.00 beer till 9PM(Closing). Almost any kind of Japanese food is available. Seating is a little tight, but we found seats. Prices for Honolulu can't be beat.
