This place is incredible. There are so many options and choices. I needed a guide who could speak Japanese. Worth the trip just to see it. I was overwhelmed and could not make information decisions due to my non-existence Japanese language skills.

Such a good variety of Japanese foods available at one spot. With our family, we always plan at least a couple meals here when on Oahu. We ate there a couple times last week with 9 family members and almost all had food from different vendors.

Expansive variety of selections of very good Japanese food. Prices are modest. From prepackaged bentos to cafeteria style to small stands with made to order items, Shirokiya offers something for anyone.

if you can't find anything to eat here, you must not like Japanese food. There are probably about twenty booths filled with lots of ethnic Japanese food from noodles to sushi and other delicacies. The prices are pretty reasonable. Do yourself a favour and skip the over priced food court on the second floor and sample some of this fare.... More

There is so much to do in Waikiki that power shopping is not #1 on our hit parade. While we have visited the Ala Moana center numerous times, we have never wandered the halls, preferring to spend our time out of doors. During the recent cold afternoon (68 degrees Fahrenheit) We finally explored the largest mall in Hawaii...and am I... More

The second floor is a mini food court of Japanese food. Its a good cheap option for a meal. My family loves it because everyone can get their own choice. It is crowded but we've never had a problem getting a table. We often get take out and eat in our hotel room. My daughter loves the salted salmon flakes... More

Not particularly clean upstairs. Food seems hyped on here as the selections I had ranged from not good to unpleasant. The pastries were ok, at best. Time money and appetite wasted. Don't fall for the hype.

Besides the wonderful products, they have a bakery with delectable pastries and cakes on the first floor BUT take the escalator to the second floor to be wowed by the many stalls of amazing foods. The ramen is addictive. True to Japanese quality, the food is gorgeous and presented beautifully.

I love this place! There are lots of Japanese food choices and a small section of Korean and Chinese food. Ramen, curry, takoyaki, shaved ice, bubble tea, udon, sushi rolls, korean side dishes, mochi, so much!!! And the price is reasonably cheap. And downstairs there is a bakery and cake shop too! It's worth a trip to the mall to... More

This is the place to go in Honolulu for really good authentic japanese food at a reasonable (for Hawaii standard) prices. Great selection for eating there or for take out. Plus the incredible $2 beer deal in the afternoon is not to be missed.
