So so...

Okay, I won't pull punches on this one. If you're missing the local Hooters back home, Da Big Kahuna is a ready replacement; waitresses in short shorts, tight or low cut tops, and wings. The restaurant doesn't look like much but the food and service was great. For what we paid, this restaurant was a great value, especially in Waikiki.

We had had a fantastic day. The kids were famished as were we. There was a guy out the front offering free Mai Tai vouchers, we should have known. We still went in. The menu sounded ok. We chose the kids wings for the girls, hubby requested the Big Kahuna Burger and I chose the Buffalo wings thinking they were... More

Da Big Kahuna was right next to our hotel, so between 6 of us, we ate there 4 times over a 10 day period. Between us, we tried appetizers, salads, sandwiches, full meals, and adult beverages. There was traditional Hawaiin fare, as well as standard American choices. I was surprised that there was never a single meal that we did... More

good place when you just want to hang around casually and drink that is affordable with quite a big servings. At the time we visited has a live music that was quite nice. Food was alright considering the price and the size of it. I had the loco moco which were quite fulfilling and their gin were good enough. Service... More

This could best be described as a cheep and cheerful bar that serves meals. There is often someone at the door giving away a free drink and drink prices inside are comparatively cheep. Also there was live music. The meal was inexpensive but nothing special and was probably let down by its presentation. If you are looking for no frills... More

This is a good place to have an afternoon stop for a snack and a maitai. the cheesy fries are just the right thing to fill a gap in the stomach and a cool drink just hits the spot. Get a seat by the windows and you can sit and watch the goings on outside on the busy street.

We ate here one night after walking around finding very long waits at most of the restaurants in Waikiki. It seems like a place that will get more popular later in the evening but we were sat right away. We had a waitress bring us drinks and then food right after. It was pretty good food and we loved the... More

This is one interesting place - quite dark, the tempation of $3 Pacifico on tap, and live entertainment from (When we were there) a really good guitarist/vocalist. Loved the ambience, instantly relaxing, and great place to chill. The very short shorts wearing waitresses were quite friendly, there are TV's on, but you just tend to want to sit there and... More
