This place used to be in the Miramar Hotel, right at the Eastern most entrance of the International Market Place.I found out they've moved across Kuhio Ave. (Since the Miramar and IMP are being torn down) Anyway this is the best Korean style BBQ in Waikiki. the past 6 months have ssen a significant increase in Kalbi prices, Island wide.... I stopped in here today by accident. We were planning to go to another restaurant down the street, that is very highly rated on trip advisor, however the line to get in was coming out the front door. So, instead we walked down the street and stumbled across Mikawon and I am so glad we did! It's just a tiny... More

This is seriously great food. A lot of reviews have said that this restaurant seemed dingy, but we thought it was thoroughly loved. This is sort of a hole in the wall place, but totally worth it. The food is top notch. We couldn't have been happier with our meal. The place with completely packed the entire time we were... More

We had been here before since this was our 7th time at Waikiki. It is a hole in the wall near one of the entrances to the International Market Place from the Kuhio Avenue side. Written on the walls are sayings and thanks from many of the visitors- local and international. The decor and atmosphere is not the greatest but... More

Grilled chicken and ribs were tasty. Pretty dirty sitting outside though but that's not their fault. Good for take away.

The food is delicious and authentic. The service is very friendly. It's a beloved little place that even Korean Air crews and ROK Air Force crews come to enjoy a hearty meal (evident by the numerous autographed drawings and notes of gratitude covering the walls adding to the hole-in-the-wall charm). Average price runs about $25-30/pp for a BBQ dish and... More

The young man who greeted us didn't know where to seat us, and our waitress, although nice, was a little unattentive. That being said, the food was out of this world.

We wanted some good Korean food so we checked out this website. We went there and were treated like they didn't want us there. We order several dishes including the Bulgogi. This is a dish of cooked strips of meat that you eat in a lettuce wrap. The dish came and we asked about the lettuce and she said it... More

This is the first time I tried Korean food, and I simply loved it!! It took us a while to find this restaurant, it's a small place hidden in one of the alleys in Waikiki. The decor was interesting, the walls were covered with messages/drawings from the patrons. There were about a dozen tables in the restaurant, with built in... More
