Dont go if you dont like self serve eating at picnic tables out of containers. Do go if you like good food at good prices and are hungary. Grab a beer in attached store and sit outside. Good choice if you just climbed diamond head look out. They have steaks seafood shrimp grilled veggies. All good.

We felt that the market offers the best deal with fresh looking salads and delicious bakery items (had a super moist scone). However, the hamburger and portabella sandwiches we ate in the grill were small, plain and served on stale buns. We were starving, but definitely made a mistake by choosing the grill over the market where things looked much... More

The best thing I had here was the Surf N Turf plate lunch. This plate is packed with shrimp, garlic ahi, teriyaki meat, grilled chicken rice, salad. Price 14 but enough food for 2, unless ur hungry. Parking is a bit of a madhouse and tables alfresco are hard to com by, but eat in your car or a block... More

Although it was good, it was mostly rice with gravy with a thin burger. Double the burger size and you've got a winner!

BBQ Ribs were awesome. I had a great sandwich but bread was soggy on the bottom when I sat down to eat outside in the front of the building. Now, the desserts in the store next door; many to choose from. I bought the mango topped cream pie and the black and white cheese cake. I am a picky person... More

Doesn't look like much as you drive up but the combination of the take-out window and the adjoining market makes for a winner combination at meal time. We start at the takeout -most of the "entrees" offered as a sandwich, a mini-plate or a full plate. The Kalbi-Rib plate was delicious and filling. My partner loved her Portobello Mushroom Dinner... I would got back even if I wasn't going to diamond head. Stopped here for lunch after climbing Diamond Head and wanting some Ahi tuna. I was not disappointed. The Ahi in a ginger sauce was good with the salad and rice. The sauce really made the dish. Worth the trip for a nice lunch.
