After a long flight from Texas, asked at our B&B where to get some food. So glad this was around the corner. Got barbecue pork and a grilled fish to take away. Ate every bite. In the deli - all kinds of goodies to choose for a snack, meal or dessert. Scones were huge - double the size of any... More

The actual grill is a hole-in-the-wall that makes take-out breakfasts (until 10.30 am or so, and then burgers etc) ordered at a window that abutts a small and busy parking lot (there's limited parking on side streets, and so it's best to leave the car somewhere else, and walk here). There's a few park benches out front, but that's all... More

This is a very convenient place to stop to/from Diamond Head, it's right on the way to the crater entrance along Monsarrat Ave. Great food and quantity for the price, and I highly recommended the Teriyaki Chicken. This place is very local, there are picnic tables outside near the parking lot to enjoy the food at.

We went here twice for dessert. You cannot go wrong with the bread pudding. There are lots of terrific take out items. Take Monserrat to this place and dig in. You will be happy you did.

Another vote for these amazing scones. We tried the blueberry cream cheese, apple cream cheese, and banana. All 3 were amazing, but if I got a go at only one, I'd stick to the blueberry cream cheese. Broke my rule of eating at the same place more than once on a vacation, but this place earned it.

On our last trip to Oahu, this place was our "secret" find. Man, what a great spot we thought. Sure it is a spot you order at a counter and sit a pic-nic tables to eat your meal from Styrofoam plates, but everything was fresh, healthy and delicious. This time? The food was oily, over salted, and quite frankly unappealing.... More

This is our fourth visit to Hawaii and Diamond Head. We've patronised Diamond Head Market Grill about forty times - it is consistently good, has an excellent variety of food and exceptional service. You will find something to eat and enjoy and remember whatever your background, country or preferred cuisine. Thank you Joanne Trotter of Diamond Head Bed and Breakfast... More

After a morning hike through Diamond Head, this place is an excellent stop for quick eats on your way back to Waikiki. It's located along the major bus routes or you can continue your hike from the base of Diamond Head. It's less than a mile walk. Inside the market there is a variety of premade foods to choose from.... More
