I would got back even if I wasn't going to diamond head. Stopped here for lunch after climbing Diamond Head and wanting some Ahi tuna. I was not disappointed. The Ahi in a ginger sauce was good with the salad and rice. The sauce really made the dish. Worth the trip for a nice lunch.

Their lemon crunch cake - amazing. We also ate breakfast there. The food was good... very traditional Hawaiian food.

Awesome street food right next to Diamond Head. Also had the BBQ steak. The service is pretty quick, and you get a nice view of mountain across from you while you eat.

Go for the scones! A local told us about their blueberry scones & she was right--awesome! Huge & cakey, not dry! Go early or else they might be sold out. We thought the scones were so worth it, we walked there twice from Waikiki (20 min, 1 mile). Then we tried dinner-I had the Korean ribs & they were good.... More

Lunch plate and sandwich food. This place looks like a dive, with only a few outdoor benches and tables, but it is always busy. The food comes out quickly. The plates have a green salad with a light, delicious dressing, a scoop of brown or white rice (Hawaiian style), and then the entree. These entrees are worthy of a five... More

Pretty amazing breakfast place. Talk about local! Give this place a try. We ordered Loco Moco with fried rice and Pork Hash. They have parking and take cards. Eating is outside on benches or picnic tables. I'd definitely come back.

Great diner and plate lunch food... Breakfast of fried rice and 2 eggs was delicous and the grilled kalbi (short ribs) with salad, rice and mac salad was excellent!

We stopped on our way back from our walk to Diamond Head Memorial, a round trip of about 13km from our Waikiki Hotel. Hungry and hot we chose a LUNCH PLATE of Portobello mushrooms and chicken. We managed to find one of the few tables at the edge of the car park and waited a few minutes for our food... More

This is a walk-up and order through a window kind of place. No service or romantic setting here if that's what you're looking for. However, the food is made after you order it, and it is really good. I suggest the Korean BBQ chicken plate. Their ribs are also very good. They have a salad for sides with some rice.... More

We tried this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday and had the surf and turf. It was great! The ahi was surprisingly good for a corner store grill. No wonder the locals eat here. Highly recommended.
