Where do I start? Well we saw this place a few times and it always was busy, one of the bus drivers said it was a good local place to eat. Its just a walk up window with a few tables outside but they also have a bakery attached and they have some of the best goodies ever in there!!... More

Good pastries, especially the huge scones! And that is the market portion. The grill is very good. We had the loco moco and the french toast. Fun to sit outside (the only seating available there) and enjoy a good brekke after a trek up the crater. Expensive, of course, but worth it.

This is a neighbourhood kind of place away from Waikiki, but available via The Bus or on the Waikiki Trolley Green Line. You'll have a chance to eat leisurely or quickly as the trolley comes about every 35 minutes. Go inside the market for deli sandwiches and wickedly good desserts. Also a microwave to warm up a variety of things... More

We stopped here for breakfast after hiking Diamond Head. The four of us were very pleased with our breakfast even after making some unorthodox choices for our mainland palates. I had roast beef hash with gravy and eggs and rice--very good. My wife had fried rice for breakfast for the first time and really enjoyed it. My 14 year old... More

Yes it comes in a Styrofoam box, but the food you take out through the window of Diamond Head Market & Grill is as good as you will find in many of Honolulu's expensive restaurants. The ingredients are fresh and of top quality, never overcooked, tasty and yes, even healthy. The Ahi-Ahi plate is a bargain, as it the portabello... More

Located on Monserrat Avenue, mauka (inland) from Waikiki, Diamond Head Market offers delicious meals and fresh baked goods for pick up. Being away from the bustle of Waikiki, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere unpretentious. Diners can enjoy their meals on picnic benches in front of the restaurant or take them to go.

Stopped in for lunch after walking down from Diamond Head. Really friendly staff and a number of fresh and healthy options. Shared a meal with my girlfriend that was more then enough for the both of us. Nice to have this option as we don't have places like this back home.

Nothing special. Too many birds and the grill area is dirty. This is a bus stop area. Save your money and eat someplace else rather than the parking lot. The ahi portion was small and the ribs were fatty. Waste of time and money.

Diamond Head Grill is a quaint little place with outdoor food counter. Outdoor seating along the sidewalk makes it easy to decide on seating! ^_~ Have been here a few times once on a "date" and once with my kids. Each visit was easy and tasty! We had the Kalbi ribs and the Teri chicken plates. All food scarfed down... More

We went 2 x to get the lunch plate lunch. Enough for 2 small eaters. BUT I could have had my own because the taste was pretty good for a "dinner, drive in and dives" kind of place. Lol Choice of white or brown rice. And the rice is excellent....not gooey. We had char su chicken and teriyaki chicken. Excellent!... More
