Seat down for the meal, but don't forget the dessert!!! Two Words - BREAD PUDDING!!! A must have. Good food, very reasonably priced and some lunch days meals are 2 for price of one, so eat one and take other back to your resort/hotel for later or next day. Staff is so on top of everything... read more

This was the third or fourth time we've been to Nate' s and have always had a decent meal. Last night was an exception however. I had the sirloin and, while the meat was a decent cut, tender, and cooked just the way I like it, it was way over-seasoned and much too salty. Also, you only get one side... More

Nate's prides themselves on being friendly, and in offering good prices on homestyle cooking. They have daily specials, and their happy hour appetizers are popular with the locals as an early supper alternative. This is one of the few places that has pot roast, okra and cowboy beans on their menu. Salad bar includes many toppings, but the past two... More

This is the place we like to visit when travelling. Formerly located on historic 89A in Cottonwood, they have now moved East on 89A. GPS was inaccurate as it was beyond the roundabout where it thought it should be. The emphasis here is on the food, with the interior consisting of a number of booths, and an area with a... More

A very busy place. Good grub, nothing fancy but well prepared with robust portions. Service was slow but there was a large party (owner's pre-wedding bash) that had things a bit out of whack. I had a rib eye steak and one in our party had the prime rib. Both were excellent and at very reasonable prices. Give it a... More

This, where I ate on April 27th after a hard morning of boating at Dead Horse Ranch and hiking to Indian ruins near Camp Verde, was a great find. It's a neat looking place; I'd heard the food was good, and that their specialty was bread pudding. I ordered pot roast, which to them means thick slices of roast beef... More

The food wag very good. We (four of us) all had something different. Ribs, salads, beef, sliders, and fish...all good. Reasonably priced. Good marguerite. We were a little late, and services were a little slow.

Loved our lunch at Nate's, we were on our way from Jerome to Scottsdale and just happened to drive by, my husband actually made me turn around and I'm so glad we did. The restaurant is decorated perfectly with the cowboy theme, the booths were classy and very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Our food was served fast,... More

After researching restaurants in Clarkdale, AZ, Nate's was highly recommended on Tripadvisor and Yelp. Hubby and I had the full rack of ribs and the salad/soup bar. Went for salad, but lettuce was wilted and brown. Opted out, so went for soup. Had the corn chowder and potato and green chile. Both were really, really good, but could've been hotter.... More

First time visit but we will be back. Excellent steaks (we had the ribeye and the bacon wrapped filet). The sweet potato fries are very good, but the highlight of our meal was the sizzling bread pudding. Heated on a cast iron fajita pan, drizzled with a Carmel sauce with a scoop off ice cream on top. Awesome. Service when... More
