Mexican and Greek food prepared from scratch. Family run. Great Greek salads. We enjoy visiting with the owners!

We have been traveling to the Green Valley area for many many years and NO trip would be complete without eating at the incredible Tumacacori Mission Restaurant. We look forward to it every year....and this year was no different. Bob and Maria Ziegler know how to put it on. With Bob's collection of family Greek recipes and his wife as... More

Six of us recently enjoyed great Greek meals at the Tumacacori Restaurant. The lamb shanks, spanakopita and Maria's very special chicken pie were all very delicious! The atmosphere is nothing special but food and service are excellent for such a tiny town, well worth the drive. It is a labor of love for the very nice people who own and... More

When traveling in southern Arizona make the Tumacacori Mission Restaurant a MUST for lunch or dinner. This family owned restaurant has both Greek and Mexican food on their menu. The tilapia is absolutely fabulous, as is the Athenian chicken. All food is cooked fresh and to order by Bobby, and the family is there to make sure that your dining... More

This restaurant is located right across from the Historic State Park so one might think it is the place to go for lunch. We suggest that you go elsewhere. Perhaps the restaurant is (or was) on the right track with a mixed menu of Greek and Mexican food and a cute interior but is (and, maybe always has been) off... More

After visiting the Mission at Tumacacori, we went across the street for lunch at the Tumacacori Mission Restaurant located at 1896 E Frontage Road. We were greeted by the Owner whose Son, Bobby, was the Chef today. They have many excellent Greek selections on the menu ... we had the Gyro plates along with a Greek Salad, fresh hot bread... More

After taking the tour of the mission, we drove up to Wisdom's Cafe, the only competing restaurant in town. It was packed, so we tried the Tumacacori Mission Restaurant at 2 pm for lunch. 8 ladies celebrating a birthday were the only other customers. Aside from color photos of scenes in Athens and Santorini, the decor is quite plain. The... More

My wife and I have been visiting the Tumacacori Mission Restaurant for almost twenty years and they just keep getting better. Try the fresh Talapia on rice or any of the Greek specialties. Everything on the menu is wonderful and it is always great to visit with Robert, Maria, and Robert Jr. A great family restaurant, don't miss it!

I was recently on a trip to Arizona and toured Tumacacori Mission. After touring the mission I saw across the street the Tumacacori Mission Restaurant. I decided to give this restaurant a try! I was very impressed with the menu and quality of food, the Greek dishes are very traditional. The menu is priced right for the portion sizes too!... More
