This place is actually quite large with a huge selection of teas, coffees, and baked goods. Had an iced mocha that was a little too milky but pretty good. Cookie was nothing special but they were bringing out cakes as we left that looked delectable.

Relaxing atmosphere. Great selection of teas and coffees. A bit thin on the desserts at the end of a Saturday night.

The desserts here are amazing- most are from a local baker- Ed- carrot cake cheescake, linzer bar, and the brownie- especially the new espresso brownie. The new house baker is good too. There was an amazing pumpkin pie tart around Thanksgiving that need to come back. The service is great- EVERYONE gives 110 percent. Love the info rack with old... More

Whenever I travel to a new place, the first thing that I do is seek out the advice of locals as to where to find the best coffee. Sometimes they miss the mark, but this time, I couldn't be happier! The biggest treat was that they were out of their own espresso roast, so what do they do....substitute in fresh... More

We began our morning walk with a stop at Empire as the coffee cake muffin is our grandson's favorite. The service was very good and the staff was very friendly. A large lightbrite table is popular with children.

Great location downtown with a relaxing atmosphere. Sofas, comfy chairs, window facing bar seats and tables give plenty of options for seating. Friendly helpful staff. Best of all, great coffee. Only one hot brew offered at a time but great espresso drinks plus cold brew, specialty drinks and lots of tea options. The hot brew was very good and the... More

If you are in Newport and need your espresso fix you have to give Empire a try. You will be hooked! They have the best machines and baristas plus a great selection of grounds. They also have a great selection of teas all of them loose leaf and either made to order or to take home. I heard they just... More

Yes they have great teas and coffe drinks but the bubble tea is awesome! Especially because I am lactose intolerant and they use really good nondairy flavors such as taro root, coconut and chocolate pudding. Yum. Must try. Very hipster atmosphere.

The people know their coffee here. I'm an espresso snob. They only pull a double, this makes sense to me. service was great, but the prices are high. An esspresso,a latte and two yogurt parfaits for $16:00. Come on!

Friendly help- delicious chocolate cake , cookies , frozen hot chocolate and tea lattes. Similar feel to most coffee/ tea places but open late. Mostly locals and away from the tourist crowd.
