While in Newport on a busy Friday night.. we found our way the Christie's. Now this is the one on Perry Mill Wharf. There is another one at the end of the street. We were seated right away, outside. Wait staff was good. They do not have a kids menu but did adjust for chicken finger plate. They also had... More

2nd nite in Newport....called for reservations.....got into Christie's.......I would think you could always get into Christie's. Although our selections made us happy.....I had the kale salad, which featured a wonderful lightly fried ball of goat cheese, pistachios & dried cranberries and the scallop & caramelized onions flatbread served on a board, both hit the spot. Hubby chose the seared tuna,... More

We had such a hard time walking into any restaurants at Bowens Wharf since we did not make a reservation and we were looking for that authentic seafood experience but we ended up at Christie's and while it wasn't very "newport" and more lounge like we had a great time the drinks were delicious and unique and the food choices... Christies made for a fantastic spot for dinner on a sunny evening. Four of us dined there and between us had two lobster rolls, the skirt steak, and a beet salad. The food was excellent and served with a smile! The house cocktails are particularly imaginative and I would definitely recommend trying at least the cucumber martini (house specialty) if... More

On a day trip to newport and seven of my friends and I finished it off at christie's. Have to say, the place is amazing! Love the decor, great atmosphere, very relaxed vibes. The food has such variety and we were all very satisfied with the night - the time flew by in christie's. Definitely a great way to end... More

Recently celebrated my bachelorette party in Christie's and we were treated to a phenomenal night. The food was magnificent, cocktails were divine, and the service was as attentitive as we could desire. We really appreciated the time and attention delivered to is on the occasion. I'll certainly be returning after the big day.

Had a fantastic experience in Christie's last Saturday! The food was excellent, the new menu really suited us as a party of 8 we shared lots of snacks, boards & flatbreads between us.They also offered classics such as the lobster mac n cheese. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service, especially the irish girls. 10/10

We ate at Christie's while on a recent program trip, and I've got to admit that I simply do not understand why people would dine here. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant enough, and the staff was fairly nice. However, the meal just didn't make it, with serious issues on everything I ordered. For an appeatizer, I ordered the... More

We had eaten here before, and wanted to stop again when we came to Newport a few years later. We weren't disappointed, from the clam chowder to the burger and especially the lobster roll. Good wine selection and craft beers. No snippy servers here.

My girlfriends and I went her for a night out because the menu looked good and reasonable, and the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience. Their staff is comprised of inexperience college girls who are very nice but just learning the ropes. They have no bus boys, there is no leadership and they are spread thin. Long... More
