We were again one of only 2 tables in the house last night. Coming off season sure makes it easy to get a table :) The BYOB allowed us to get a couple of bottles of wine that we had tried on previous occasions but had never seen on menus. This and they cost 1/3 as much as similar bottles... more

Three of us dined at Spark last night. Between us we had several salads, soup, and entrees. We enjoyed all the items we had. Though we weren't as impressed as some of the earlier reviewers, we were certainly satisfied with our meals and would not hesitate to eat here again. Service was warm and efficient. Small,modern, dimly lit, BYOB restaurant. Loved it! Great food and Great service. Try the shrimp nachos. We did, do to these previous reviews. WE will definitely visit SPARK again when we come back to Newport. more

I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. The food is absolutely fantastic. Four of us had three "little plates" and 4 entrees and every one of them was delicious. Also, the BYOB policy made this meal an incredible bargain.. Our only negative comment is that it was very noisy on a Sat night. But the food here is definitely worth... more
