This place was recommended by a woman at one of the mansion tours. The milkshakes were the best part of the experience. The service was slow and the food was average. People were getting up and leaving because they were not getting served. I would go here only for the milkshake and go to the takeout window for faster service.

Very nice workers at Bellevue Ave Creamery hampered by poor management as there is a sign saying if you want to purchase a gallon of ice cream for home consumption you enter and make purchase in the store but then must go outside to the take out window to purchase Awful Awful milkshake to go, unfortunately only one staff member... A great stop on a hot day, Newport Creamery has ice cream with great flavor and a very smooth texture. Good stuff!

We went with our extended family for lunch after visiting the Tennis Hall of Fame. We all enjoyed our meals and especially our ice cream. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. There are not many gluten free options available.

The ice cream was very good and the selection was excellent. The service was poor and the restaurant was not even busy.

Delicious breakfasts, lunches, ice cream sundaes, and the famous Awful-awful, a creamy milkshake that has made this place famous throughout New England. It is a must stop when visiting Newport. Super friendly staff and the best coffee ice cream in town.

I love this place. The breakfasts are great and excellent value, the food is always good and the clientele, especially those on weekend mornings, are interesting and lovely people. A piece of history!

So my opinion about newport creamery is that the service is good but the food is not so great.. So my brothers friend came to town so I decided to take them to newport because I've always heard great things about new port about how their are so many cute little places that a lot of people love I looked... Stopped by the Newport Creamery today for some cones. The ice cream had freezer-burn icicles on it, the cones were stale and chewy/rubbery, the sprinkles tasted rotten (I kid you not, they tasted like dill), and the service was largely disinterested. Not impressed. Will not return.

This is a cute and fun place for a reasonably-priced lunch. I had soup and a half sandwich, and we returned later for milkshakes called Awful Awfuls. On Mondays, you can buy-one-get-one-free, which is a great deal. I got a coffee flavor but it didn't taste at all like coffee, so I suggest another flavor; my husband got chocolate and... More
