We Went Twice

We started to go someplace else for breakfast but parking was so bad on the side streets because of the snow. Luckily, I remembered seeing Annie's on a previous trip and knew there was a parking lot across the street. We went in on our first morning and loved it so much we went back the next day... read more

We stumbled upon Annie's by chance on our way to The Elms since it's not on Thames, the main drag in Newport. It's the perfect spot for breakfast or lunch with good food and great service. It looks like it has been there forever....in a good way. The old photos give it charm and make you feel like a local.... More

I know there are a great deal of great places to eat in Newport, but i was thoroughly surprised to not find Annies in or anywhere near the number 1 spot here on Trip Advisor. My wife and I happened upon Annies one late weekend breakfast morning after trying to go to one of the top 10 spots and finding... More

We had a fantastic late breakfast at Annie's! We were greeted happily by the friendly staff and were offered freshly squeezed OJ and coffee/tea as soon as we sat down. The OJ was a delicious and welcome surprise on a winter morning, and the coffee was amazing- old school with great flavor. Tea was also enjoyable and they kept the... More

On our way to the Elms, we called for lunch at Annies. i had the soup and 1/2 sandwich, and it was excellent. The lobster bisque was great and the turkey in the sandwich was real turkey,

I popped in for a quick, but full breakfast; I had been told by a local car park attendant it was the best in the area. The food was great and the service was quick if a little reserved. I tried to return on the following Sunday. It was full, with a queue, it is very good and the locals... More

I found Annie's while driving back from a run on the cliff walk. OMGoodness! What a find! I had a basic breakfast of eggs over easy with ham, toast and hashbrowns; a perfect breakfast for breakfast lover. The waitress was friendly and the atmosphere simple with decor of historic pictures throughout. I have recommended Annie's and I will definitely return.... More

We went to Newport for our anniversary. Happened upon Annie's while out walking and looking for breakfast. Great service! The servers were friendly and pleasant. We had omelets and they were delicious!

Good, reasonably priced food, friendly and quick service. I loved the French Onion soup. FYI, they only take cash.
