Since it was the off season, the restaurant was very quiet. The waiter was very attentive--but not too much so, and the food was well-presented and delicious. A bit pricey, but not bad for a fine dining experience.

We went to breakfast here as it was located in our hotel (Hotel Viking). They had the standard breakfast buffet, which seemed a bit pricey, unless you were really hungry ($24/person)! The service was okay - once our food was delivered our waitress did not return until it was time for the check. They had an extensive menu for those... More

This is a great little place in The Viking. Breakfast selections were healthy, and staff nice .. Just a little note, they don't stay open long go early. Bar attached is nice but the prices are high for wine.

Had dinner here our first night in town. Only 2 other tables were occupied so it was quiet and intimate. We had an infant with us- so were worried about keeping him quiet to not disturb other diners- it meant that I spent most of my meal in the large unoccupied dining room to quiet him. The food was good-... More

Had dinner there twice and each night was better. Our server Michael was well informed about the food, wine and was warm and friendly. The food was exceptional in every way and the staff was quick, efficient and non evasive during the meal. Conversations were never interrupted and the evenings flowed smoothly.

Saw a lot of good reviews so figured we'd give it a try for breakfast. The portions were small, the butter they gave for pancakes was frozen, the bloody mary was awful (someone should tell the bartender that bloody marys are supposed to be red not brown), and the service was incredibly slow despite there being plenty of open tables.... Outstanding from beginning to end. Service, food, atmosphere the whole experience. Can't say enough about this restaurant - actually a primary reason for us returning to the Viking Hotel!

My husband and I were there last night and the food and service were impeccable. Mike, our waiter, knew alot about the menu and was helpful. The busboy continuously was attentive to water refills and clearing plates. We had a gift certificate which was good since the food is expensive but I honestly have to say the food, ambiance, service... More

Due to the very cold weather this weekend while staying in Newport, we stayed at the Viking Hotel. It was too cold for our taste to walk to places to dine so we ate all our meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. One Bellevue Restaurant. The food is delicious for each meal and along with... More
