Great Food

What a treat a small place that used to be a corner store with counter service. So don't expect a fancy place. The food makes up for it. When we were there they just kept on coming in.

We decided to try the Franklin Spa for Sunday breakfast based on so many raving reviews. It was good but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. Service was pleasant on an early Sunday morning. Pancakes were solid, but not superb. Sausage patties were tasty. The home fries were somewhat bland, but not bad. Coffee was good for a diner atmosphere.... More

The food is very good - It is a good old fashioned bacon, eggs, pancakes kind of place! A throwback and packed every day!

Hotel valet recommended Franklin Spa when we said we wanted a diner for breakfast. Seat yourself. Service was a little slow as more people arrived. Delicious pecan pancakes & good coffee.

Enjoyed speedy service and excellent breakfasts at reasonable prices on a late Sunday AM. 3 of us enjoyed Benedicts with the local bolo rolls under. ( Portuguese sweet bread rolls). My son ate eggs & lobster. (Thanks dad!) Service was excellent. Fortunately I had some cash, because it's cash only. An ATM is in the diner. Enjoy! Highly recommended.

So happy we found this local gem! Breakfast was one of the best breakfast I've had in a long time! It was so good we made a special trip to eat there again but we left town. The menu is extensive but both times we got the same things and I highly recommend the cinnamon maple French toast and hearty... More

I'm not sure why this place has the negative reviews it does. We spotted (and smelled good smells from) Franklin Spa before actually going there, and it seemed like a good bet for a weekend brunch. We went around 11 am on a Sunday, and although they were quite busy we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitperson was friendly and... More

The food is good, the service is friendly, and the prices are OK. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious!
