We were referred here by a Hotel concierge. It is more like a small corner diner. Very homey, clean, no bells and whistles. Fast friend service. I had a veggie omelet with home fries. complaints. My son ordered the buttermilk pancakes which he said were the best pancakes he has ever had. They arrived piping hot with a sprinkle of... More

Great food, service and menu. If you want a great time, sit at the counter and watch the cooks coordinated effort on the grills. Great food and great time. Breakfast was delicious and more than enoughm and very reasonably priced. Worth the wait!

The Mexican roll up for breakfast was just so so. Quite disappointing. The egg was dry, too much tortilla for too little filling and salsa tasted like it was out of a can.

We went over Labor Day weekend based on Tripadvisor and Yelp reviews. It was a let down. We went in for lunch but they were serving brunch all day. They were heavily staffed but there weren't many customers, so a lot of the wait staff were doing kitchen duty (chopping food, restocking stuff)... and we felt like they didn't want... More

Nothing fancy, diner-like decor, nice and bright inside. We were immediately seated in a booth. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, my husband the Lobster Benedict. We shared both and Crab Cake was winner, hands down. They were nice enough to offer us more Hollandaise sauce - but there was plenty. It did not taste like a house made Hollandaise... More

Looks like a diner, with a diner menu. The food however was better than diner food. Went for breakfast and wish I could have tried more of the offerings. The three of us were all happily satisfied with delicious meals. Looking forward to going back!

Food The best: any Benedict style seafood eggs (lobster or crab are our favorites) and the stuffed french toast..sinful. The other basic breakfasts are all very good. For fancier foods go to LaForge by the tennis hall of fame. Location: Downtown Newport and perfect but on a weekend you MUST get there early. The restaurant is not fancy but the... More

Using the name "spa" here is misleading...this restaurant is actually a "hole-in-the-wall breakfast diner", where every worker is "tiny" and efficient. lol . But the food's taste is big, and portion size even bigger! The recipes are creative.. you can get more than eggs and toast. My favorite is the French toast (Portuguese bread) stuffed with cream cheese and blueberries.... More

The best breakfast in Newport. If you do not get there early on the weekend be prepared to wait.It is not fancy but a great friendly staff and great food makeup for the wait.No credit card cash only.Good selection of large portions of breakfast food for brunch.I recommend Franklin Spa and go for brunch every visit to Newport.
