Worst place ever, will never go back. The bartenders will not wait on you, and when the do the are the most rude arrogant people I have ever come across. They have no idea what customer service is about. more

Decided to go with in walking distance of where we was staying. Didn't have to wait but we were there in Dec. Can't imagine what the wait would be in the seasonal months, I am always on a mission to find "The Crab Cake".. and they have one of the best I have ever had !!!. Fresh crab meat. not... more

Always our first choice for lunch or dinner when visiting Newport. IF we go at dinner, we try to beat the crowd by going a little early (before 5pm). Anytime we did have to wait, the time estimate was correct, and we waited in the bar. Be prepared to take time to review both the "specials" menu for the day,... more

My wife and I went to Brick Alley for lunch upon recommendation from the Inn Keeper from where we were staying. There was no wait (albeit, we went on a Thursday afternoon), and got a table in the "second" dining room (not where the bar was). The atmosphere was very nice. Had a "pub" feel, with lots of interesting items... more

OK, so after all the great reviews on this site, my wife and I decided to check it out and see what all the hype was about...and we're still trying to figure it out. It wasn't that there was anything "wrong" with it, it just wasn't anything special. The service was average to above average and the food was average... more

Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant was a great place to wind up our long exciting Newport day, a choice we made based on Trip Advisor reviews, and we're glad we did. My husband, 3 children (ages 16-23) and I requested a table and were told that there was a 1 1/2 hour wait. We decided to wait it out, and... more

Very nice place to eat, they have a wide selection of seafood, pasta, pizza, burgers, Ect. The place is very very busy during peak times/seasons but it is worth the wait. There are two floors so the wait is usually never longer than 30 mins. The staff here is great! there are two bars here located at both levels of the... more

First attempt to eat at Brick Alley was ended before it started due to a 45 minute wait (this was at the beginning of November 2008, I'd hate to see the waiting time in the summer). finally managed to eat without a wait one lunch time. Service was excellent. Clam Chowder (my first try so at the time had nothing... more

This is hands down our favorite New England restaurant. My husband and I have done many weekend trips to Newport and always eat here. The portions are huge, they have a great bread and salad bar. This past spring we brought the kids with us and they still talk about how much they loved it. Great atmosphere, right on the... more
