Must eat staple in Newport

This location is one of the most traveled and famous stops in Newport. The food is great and the staff is equally awesome. The bar has a lot of great libations. The burgers and sandwiches area must but also try the seafood options.

Dined here for lunch on the recommendation of a local resident working in the gift shop at the Breakers. We were not disappointed. Honestly, I think I could eat here each day of our visit in Newport without disappointment. The staff is friendly. We opted to sit in the bar at a rail, rather than wait for a table, as... More

I was cruising Thames for dinner, traveling alone on business. A parking space opened across from Brick Alley. I was seated immediately at a table for four. I gather this is an unusual experience. All staff greeted me warmly and I was seated respectfully. Believe me in other places I have been seated in odd corners by the kitchen as... More

We went to The Brick Alley Pub as part of an 80th Birthday celebration for my aunt. The decor is fun and informal, with old toys hanging from the walls and ceiling. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our party of 7. Everyone ordered a different entrée and we all tasted each other's food.... More

We go to the Brick Alley at least once every time in Newport. The food is always great - lots of choices and generous portions. Great service at both lunch and dinner. Always crowded. Be prepared to wait for a table.

The Brick is one of the best and most consistent restaurants in town. The soup and salad bar is possibly the best, freshest and cleanest in the world. Only problem is it is always busy because locals and tourist LOVE it here. Well worth a visit, try to time it off core hours to avoid the dinner rush.

This place was a good choice in Newport. Food was good and well priced. I had the lobster roll which I thought was good, and my husband had a burger. His meal was okay; I think mine was better. All in all a good place and had a fun vibe.

when we arrived at restaurant on a Friday night, we were told there would be an hour and 20 minute wait. We went upstairs to the bar area to wait. We were called in less than an hour. The menu was extensive and the food was excellent.
