This was our first visit to Brick Alley Pub, and, even though it was a cold, rainy October night, the place was packed! We received very prompt and very attentive service, nonetheless. The menu was quite large and had many offerings, including complete dinners with a soup and salad bar. Prices were good, especially compared to many other Newport Restaurants.... More

We had to cut short our walk through the beautiful streets of Newport due to the rain. So we stayed dry while savoring a lobster Mac-n-cheese, nachos with pulled pork and some chicken wings. The experience was very comforting that we cannot wait to go back there. Great food and service!!

Wife and I asked around town for a good place to eat and were directed here. We had to wait a bit for a table but I was able to sample a beer in the spacious bar. When we were seated we had clam chowder and lobster corn cakes to start. Both were very good and filling. For our meals... More

I always am a happy customer leaving the Brick Alley Pub. The first couple of times I have been here, it was very busy and a little bit of a wait, but the wait is worth it. The bruschetta appetizers is delicious. My table also got a pitcher of the red sangria and it was definitely worth it. It was... More

Yes, Brick Alley is a Newport staple, and the food is good, but nothing special. I like the patty melt and the ahi tuna is really good too. You will most likely always have a wait, lunch or dinner time, but you can always sit at the bar to eat or go upstairs and eat too.

i had the lobster bisque which was absolutely scrumptious. I also had the baked stuffed clams. They were good but nothing spectacular. Much of the food had a Cajun flair, which was the case with the stuffed clams. What a disappointment! Being from Texas, I have ample opportunity for Cajun food. My lunch companion decided on the soup/salad bar. The... More

We were seated quickly & the wait staff was friendly & helpful. The restaurant was nicely decorated creating a relaxed ambiance. We shared the Baked Stuffed Clams a la Portuguese & the Overstuffed Lobster Salad Roll before returning to our cruise ship for dinner. The food that we ate at the Brick Alley was very good & tasty.

My husband and I have taken trips to Newport at least once a year for the past 6 years. We've done everything... the Cliff Walk, the beaches, the mansions, the restaurants. Brick Alley Pub is always the first restaurant on our list. If we're there for more than a weekend there is a good chance we'll end up there twice!... More

A fun and lively place to have lunch. Lots of maritime memorabilia on every wall. Fast and friendly service. My fish tacos were wonderful, but the portions are really large! If you don't have a huge appetite, suggest you consider splitting a meal with a friend. Great selection of fish, seafood, burgers, salads and sandwiches. Located a 5 minute walk... More

Eclectic collection of memorabilia occupies every inch and crevice of this casual restaurant and bar. But don't let that confuse you, the food here was excellent. I had the seared tuna. I have had this dish in 'finer' restaurants who didn't prepare the Tuna as well. Delicious, and the wasabi was fresh, creamy and hot. The portion was enough for... More
