At Brick Alley Pub we have it all: "pub style" comfort food to modern multicultural cuisine all served with genuine down-home hospitality. If you are looking for stiff, over the top formal service with small portions of over-priced food, we are not that place.

Located at 140 Thames Street across from the Brick Market Place in Downtown Newport the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant offers a warm and cozy fireplace in the winter and comfortably air-conditioned dining rooms in the summer.

The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant specializes in a blend of flavorful steaks, fresh local seafood, pastas, and seasonal specials. Begin your dinner with a selection from our cocktail menu or choose a wine from our extensive wine list. It had been an occasionally wet, windy and somewhat dreary overcast August Monday morning in Newport. My best friend and his lady recommended lunch at Brick Alley Pub to celebrate all of us being together in New England for the first time in over 30 years. Upon arrival the wait was more than an hour. It was well worth the... More

Four of us stopped by for lunch on New Years Eve. The place was packed, and they quoted us a 40 minute wait. They suggested we go to the bar upstairs to have a drink, and within 20 minutes they called our name, which was great! The restaurant is casual, cute, and has several different rooms, with each room having... More

I had dinner here with coworkers, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The portions are very large. I would best describe this restaurant as upscale pub fare.

Great food in a good locatipn but very busy causing long delays in the the middle of winter. The decorating was a bit strange to me as there were different eras and overwhelming amounts of stuff hanging on the walls. Maybe just me but all I could think about was when the last time the artifacts had been dusted....

When I visit Newport, I eat out. Brick Alley Pub is the place I stop for a lobster roll. I've searched all restaurants and tried them all. Every restaurant does it their own way, but nobody has compared to Brick Alley. They over stuff the roll with lobster meat and the side of fries and slaw are great. Every time... More

When in Newport we always visit the Brick Ally Pub. I don't know what happened? Did we just hit it on an off night???? Not sure, but neither my husband nor I were happy with our choices. I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, which has always been so delicious. This time it was so dry, so I asked for some... More

This is a large pub style restaurant right downtown. Food was very good- highly recommend the burgers and the cold draft beer. Best part however was the service. Our server, Caitlin (sp?) was excellent and totally on top of everything. If you are lucky enough to get seated at one of her tables, you are in for a treat !!!

My family and I frequent the Brick Alley Pub almost every time we are in Newport. After living in Newport for 2 years, I can say the consistency I received from BAP was on point. One of my favorite things they have is the core engine salad bar! Great family environment, $$ price point, but all in all great experiences... More
