A little gem of a resturant. Casual or big occassion this is quite place with a great menu. Off-season fixed menu on Monday night is a Newport value not to be missed!Sauces and soups outstanding. A wide range to choose from - American, Continental, or deli. Small, so if dinner there that night is important call ahead for a reservation. more

You can always find someone you know hanging at the bar ... and it is great to have the food be worth eating when you get hungry too! more

There are many other places in Newport to try out.This place is just not worth the expensive prices. Pronto down the street is far better for the money. more

The food is terrific, the waitstaff have a little spark, and the bar is packed with a sailing crowd. We were seated by a friendly redhead and served by Sarah - who was attentive and fast! I stopped into Cafe Zelda on Sunday, May 25th for lunch. The restaurant wasn't crowded as I entered a bit after 2:00 p.m. I ordered the Endive salad with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts off of the lunch specials menu that day and not off the regular menu.
