Great Meal on a Romantic, Snowy Night

Of course, the one night we choose to sneak away for some relaxation, meals, music and dancing, we have the first big snow storm of the year. No worries! We moved our reservation to an earlier time, and ended up in a wonderful window seat where we could watch the world--and the snow-- go by. It was... read more

Collection of small, intimate well decorated rooms make for homey atmosphere. Appetizers and salads fresh. Sole tasty but overcooked giving it a mushy consistency. Piccante of Veal and artichokes well prepared and tasty. Bolognaise al dente and goodly infused with meat or sausage and peppers as desired. Profiteroles delicious and well covered with a light chocolate cream but unfortunately served... More

This cozy restaurant is tucked away on Thames Street, a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport. We got lucky and found a place to park in the small parking lot out back. There are several small dining areas and we were seated at a window table on the first floor. Although it was a Saturday night... More

Cozy Italian restaurant. Excellent dishes. I had the butternut squash ravioli which was to die for. You want to take this one in!

This place reminded me of the places I've been to in the North End of Boston. It looked like it was a home converted to a restaurant, and the food was as if your italian grandmother cooked it herself. Both very characteristic of North End restaurants. The atmosphere was cozy, homey, warm and comfortable. They set us up in a... More

Menu extensive and wonderful - so much choice ! Vegetarians, non-dairy eaters would each be happy. Loved the bolognese, hey that's always a favorite and here was perfection.

A small, cozy house-like building that contains an excellent Italian restaurant. Staff were knowledgable and friendly and the food was all great. Bolognese was particularly good (although I like it straightforward and traditional). Desserts were good too.

This restaurant looks like a house. There are about 4 tables in each room of the house. We sat upstairs and I really liked the feel of the place. We had two pasta dishes and they were both authentic and excellent. We also had tiramisu that was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its quaintness and delectable dishes!!

Traditional Italian food on a quaint little side street. They say, "eat where the locals eat" when you are traveling and you won't be disappointed. This is a locals restaurant and we weren't disappointed.
