Very cozy atmosphere

The atmosphere of this Italian eatery was very nice. Food was delicious as well but the menu is a la carte so be cautioned. Friendly wait staff.

Visited at least 3 times before and I'm glad to say that the food and service remains very good. The pasta fagioli is vegetarian and delicious. I stuck with the standard spaghetti aglio e olio which was very good. The place is busy so reserve early!

This little restaurant offers amazing food. You will not be disappointed. My pasta dish was flavorful and not heavy. Dessert was equally light and delicious. Service was great also.

The food, the service, the ambiance in an old town house. What's not to like. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner in a quiet corner of this long time Newport establishment. A good, reasonable wine list. But the food, which traces its routes Bologna, is out of the ordinary and worth a trip.

The food here is terrific. Hands down, some of the best Italian I've had in Rhode Island. HOWEVER, they charge you for bread. The tables are VERY close together. There doesn't seem to be a busser or a food runner. Our waitress did everything from water tables to run food and bus other tables in the room (that had other... More

This was our second visit to this cute restaurant. They have a great selection of wine and food. I like the fact that you can order a smaller portion of the pasta dishes! My favorite is the melon with prosciutto appitizer. We all loved our food but have to say our waiter Tim was the best waiter We have ever... More

This is an excellent Italian restaurant with an authentic feel. Staff was extraordinarily friendly. Great selection of pastas. I had pasta in an oil base, apparently the waiter's favorite selection. It was delicious, favors were subtle but good. It is in an 1870s era house so it has a more intimate feel than many of he restaurants in the area.... More

We did not have a reservation, but the staff was tremendously accommodating and found us a spot (2 people). Maybe a 10 minute wait. Food was _fantastic_ - some of the best Italian we've had in a while. Despite being very busy, we were not rushed and allowed to linger and enjoy the night. Happened to sit next to a... More

I have to say that once again the reviewers here didn't let me down. My husband and I had quiet and romantic dinner with wonderful food. We shared the salad esotica and it was artfully presented to us on two plates. Utterly delicious. Endive with figs, walnuts and grapes in light but flavorful vinegrette. My husband had the veal chop... More

Excellent meal! And since we lived in milan for the past 5 years, we are picky! My husband and I both had tagliatelle al bolognese. It was totally authentic. The bread nice and warm with garlic oil on the table like in Italy. Most Italian restaurants keep a bottle on the table cause they pour a little on almost everything.... More
