One of my favorite Italian rest in Newport as it has a large selection and specials on some weekday evenings. Also you can catch live Jazz on Wednesdays

Had high expectations due to the reviews. Love italian food and have travelled to Italy may times. The food is what I would term "American Italian". It didn't bear any resemblance to authentic Italian food. Having said that, the garden salad was great and a very large portion. Just so- so, nothing special.

I haven't been to Sardella's in awhile - I use to love going there for dinner so I was disappointed with my most recent visit. The food was as I remembered it to be - I don't think I will be going back anytime soon especially with so many wonderful restaurants in the area

We ordered food to go so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was amazing!! We ordered the meatball and eggplant fries appetizers, both were delicious. For the main courses, we ordered the gemeli napoli and the il miglori ravioli. I would highly recommend both. The food was ready really fast and tasted amazing.

We ate at Sadella's Italian Restaurant in Newport and enjoyed very much. The atmosphere was very nice as well as the service. The food was very good. My wife had the chicken piccata and I had veal marsala. The food was prepared very well. With drinks, our bill was $75. including tip. I would recommend this restaurant.. I understand that... More

This was a great dining experience. We were a small group of friends looking for a nice place to enjoy food, drink and talk. The Wednesday night 'Two for $29.95' caught our attention as it included two typical American-Italian entrees and a bottle of wine. The portions were fair and no one complained about the food. We enjoyed lively conversations... More

We were there for the second time for dinner. Food is good (nothing amazing). My rare stake was more like medium. Service is so so. They should train waitresses how to pour wine. Don't fill it up especially when you are charging $83 for it. After waiting for our cab for over 30 min. (almost 15 min.), we were told... More

If you are looking for fancy plated, modern Italian you won't get it here. They serve classic italian food, but it is very good. The garden side salad is way above average. On Mondays they have a special 2 for one with a bottle of wine for $30. Its is a busy night for them.

the best Italian restaurant in Newport. The food is absolutely wonderful. Great for the whole family. There are 5 dining rooms. Do not forget to leave a bread crumb trail so you do not get lost. But every room has it own unique flavor and some people request to sit in certain rooms. They have been there for over 30... More
