We were looking for a casual dining experience and selected Lucia's from a list provided by our B&B. It was a very quiet Monday evening in Newport so service was not an issue and all of the dishes we had were excellent. The bruschetta starter was large, delicious and enough for two and our pasta dishes, a vegetarian offering with... More

Very nice atmosphere in a little small Italian Restaurant in Newport, RI. Right on Thames Street and easy walking distance from Brick Market area. Very friendly staff and wonderful food. Lobster and crab ravoli and Baked Manicotti were delicious. Nice hot Italian bread and butter. Will definately dine there again when in Newport.

We've been going to Lucia's since she and her husband first opened in the early 90's. The food is authentic Northern Italian, healthy as well as delicious. Spinaci Lucia is a must have. No matter what we order, we always add this incredible spinach dish as well. Entrees include fish, chicken, veal, and pasta. Vegans will also find it easy... More

We had the Bolognese sauce over rigatoni and a pizza with soup and salad. All were excellent. A bit on the higher side in price and our waiter seemed to overlook the change in our order and charged us more than we should've paid, but overall the experience was favorable. I would like to experience dinner.

My brother raved about the food here but forewarned about the service. GRANTED, one DOES go to a restaurant for the great food, good service is always a good thing thing as well. I ordered past with scallops & shrimp (as did my brother) - it was SOOOOO good! My sister in law is a Vegan & they cater to... More

We selected Lucia's from the reviews that indicated that it was very good Italian and it was. We arrived early for our reservation and we're seated immediately. We had manicotti and ziti. Both came our hot and very tasty. Our server was very attentive. The atmosphere is small but comfortable.

That's what the water in the pitcher tasted like! Awful service and very cramped and dark. Our server had no manners and didn't even check on us once. We will not be returning!

The food at this restaurant is fabulous. The staff is pleasant and accomodating. I had a sala Mista and my partner the salad Fresca. Each were delicious but the salad Fresca was special with the light lemon vinaigrette. The Tagliatelle ai Gamberi e Cappesante - Egg Ribbon Pasta sautéed with Shrimps, Scallops, Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, fresh Garlic, Red Pepper Flakes... More

It's hard to find a good pie outside of the NY metro area. But try, we did and it was an utter failure. The pasta dishes were good, tho.

Very authentic Italian restaurant with excellent service. Start with hot and fresh bread. Pizza is ok but the entrees are excellent. Try the sausage with pasta...you won't be disappointed. Great place if you are looking for a change from seafood.
