The food here is perfect. Every dish, and we have tried every one, is delicious. It is fun to try dishes that you normally would not try here because they will make the experience worth the risk!

Before we headed to MV, we chose to spend a night in Newport, RI… We chose to have dinner at Bouchards and it turned out to be a great choice. The waiter was on point, polite, courteous and very professional. He went over the specials along with wine recommendations. He even allowed us to taste two different wines to pair... More

This is a dining experience. It's old world meets new world. Tuxedoed waiters, huge wine list, beautfully decorated restored house, and every mouthful was absolutely delicious. It's formal (men are asked to wear jackets) but not stuffy. Our waiter was excellent. He never hovered, but anticipated our every need. He convinced us to pre-order the souffle, even tho we're not... Everything from service to the food is phenomenal at bouchards. The pate was amazing, the foie gras taurine was the best I've ever had, and the duck breast was cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be back.

Two couples out to dinner. Attentive staff. We enjoyed our cold shrimp, tomato, escargot ravioli and carpaccio appetizers. Great Bloody Mary. Deconstructed chocolate mousse and apple desserts were great. Waiter went out of his way to give us a sample of pear Eua de Vie, which will be a new regular in our dinner experience. It was a really rainy... More

Every single bite of our delicious dinner was more heavenly than the last. From the puff pastry appetizers, to the thoughtfully created entrées, and lightest, puffiest soufflé, we savored every bite. Our waiter was knowledgable and professional, yet playful. The ambiance is warm and elegant, yet not fussy. We can't wait for our next visit.

Very nice evening out for my anniversary. The food was excellent and service impeccable. We started with Espresso Martinis that were excellent. I had the warm pear salad with blue cheese and walnuts that melted in my mouth. The rolls were very European and yummy. The filet was perfect and the plating very creative. They gave us each a flute... More

A must stop when going to Newport. Plan ahead and make a reservation. The dining room is cozy with a fireplace and simple settings. The staff could have been nicer. We just celebrated our anniversary here last weekend. The food is amazing .

Small house type place with a nice comfortable feel as soon as you walk in. I had a steak (bone in) with a foie gras, truffle, raspberry sauce and it was amazing! Cooked perfectly and popping with flavor. For dessert i choose the Souffles which was so light and sweet but not too sweet, excellent! Our waiter was very good... More
