Seven of my best friends and I had an amazing meal last Friday night at the Grill. Food was on par with some of the best meals I've had in NY and London. Frankly, I was really surprised. Certainly going back again soon. Views of the marina and a beautiful sunset from the bar before dinner didn't hurt the atmosphere,... More

I was part of a party of 8 that dined at the Grill and we all thought it was an amazing experience. The menu had a great selection and given the large party we were able to try many items. Everything was prepared to perfection and tasted delicious. The service was great. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive and helped... More

Brunch @ The Grill was excellent. The Eggs Benedict is highly recommended and worth every penny. The Hostess Megan is an angel, extremely attentive without hovering. Darlene is simply the best waitress ever. Neither one bats an eye regarding a special request, or dealing with a difficult & demanding diner (this writer). I was won over by their charm -... More

I am so disappointed about this restaurant, I heard such great things about it and also checked out the menu online and was excited to try some things off the menu. Had dinner with friends on 3/15/14. I was excited to try an appetizer and the main course I saw on the website. When the menu came it was completely... More

We were staying for the weekend at 41 North and enjoyed The Grill restaurant. We had dinner there one night and breakfast both mornings. The food was excellent!

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant. We sat outside which I enjoy, especially if it is by the water. The views were gorgeous, there was a nearby party smoking though, which I can't blame the restaurant but it wasn't great while we ate. We aren't picky or fussy, though, so we still enjoyed ourselves. The wine was really good,... More

I stopped in to this restaurant because there was a sign outside advertising a surf and turf slider special. Although the sign was clearly marked for Forty 1 North, the special was actually for a nearby restaurant, Christies. I decided to stay and try Forty 1 North. I began with the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail which was six or so jumbo... More

We visited during Newport's Restaurant Week, which many local restaurants offer special menus. In this case it was a appetizer, main course and dessert for $30. At the Grill, this is a relative bargain. The interior is very attractive, the setting is posh, and on a good day the view of the harbor is nice too. Our food all around... More

It is restaurant week in newport so we decided to give it a try, even though we heard mixed reviews about The Grill. First it's $10 to park. It's November in newport not July. The atmosphere is very nice and the view is killer. The service was very good but overall not on par for level they want to be... More
