Sitting at the Grill among the grand yachts and watching the harbor is great, almost makes you forget about the good food you ordered.

The location was wonderful but that was just about all that was was great. We had lunch here and the food was only average but expensively priced and portions were just fair. Service was not good; we we had to wait quite a while for our entrees and even to get our water glasses refilled. Would not rush back -... More

Wonderful location, upscale hotel and marina. We've been coming here for several years and the restaurant is quite bad. Its a hip south beach scene, with eclectic music blasting everywhere so you can't even have a dinner conversation. The food has been all over the place - sometimes good, sometimes terrible. The service is terrible. Young staff, unsupervised more interested... More

A menu that had promise, somewhat pricey, but a great view and location. So maybe worth the extra money. The service was slow. Two of the people waiting on us didn't speak English well enough to answer our questions. The servers were attractive European women, there for the summer experience. But it was the food that disappointed us the most.... More

The atmosphere is great. Right at the water, this is really beautiful. But don't go there when you love food and good service. We had as an appetizer a Ravioli with a sauce that was so terrible: Like jellied water, besides that the Ravioli itself didn't have any flavor. Unbelievable! The steak was good, but this was not really difficult... More

My husband and I had dinner in July at Forty 1 North. I was blown away by the beauty and the water view. The tables are all around the water. We were able to sit outside. I think the view and atmosphere were better than the food. We liked our meal but did not love it. The rolls were rock... More

We stumbled onto Forty 1 North on the water front in Newport and decided based on the very chic atmosphere that we definitely would return for dinner or at least drinks; we returned for both on two different occasions. Based on the reviews I did not expect much but we were pleasantly surprised. The prices were of course on the... More

Beautiful building, decor, furniture, etc., but the food didn't live up to the very high prices. The server was very nice and the wine good, but the lobster roll was not good, the French fries looked like scraps. Prices are ridiculous! $15 just to park for lunch! No wonder the place was nearly empty!

We had dinner at 41 North. Started well, were greeted warmly and placed at a nice table outside. Waitress seemed pleasant enough, but as the place filled up service deteriorated. Our raw bar order never came and we were later told its on its way, this after our entree was served. The most galling fact was no apology was offered.... More

Have been here for dinner and lunch and I must say the food is consistently wonderful. Nice selection and very fresh. The view is wonderful. A nice spot in the summer and early fall.
