Great food during Restaurant Week

Had a Newport Storm beer and Prix Fixe ($16) 3 course lunch during restaurant week. #1 Kale & pear salad, #2 Arugula with pomme fritte salad and rare steak, #3 Raspberry sorbet and banana / chocolate mouse. Everything was fabulous. Indoor was pretty upscale and had a fabulous view of the... read more

We stayed at the hotel and ate in due to weather. The food was fabulous something that as a frequent traveler I rarely find at hotels. Great wine list and service was impeccable

Had a most delicious breakfast . I recommend the French toast and the egg white omelette with goat cheese and spinach . I enjoyed these things with a Bellini . Then we returned to have thanksgiving dinner for a spectacular treat . Everything was delicious . Nothing bad on the menu it seems like and we ordered lots of things... More

Of the countless first rate eateries on offer in Newport, The Grill ranks at the top of the heap. Without question, the best feature is the food. An eclectic menu is offered featuring a well balanced array of high end items such as dry aged steaks, premium fish dishes and bar food items such as burgers and other lite snacks.... More

From walking into this most beautiful bar on the marina to the views facing the water this is the place to relax and enjoy a meal in Newport. The raw seafood platter is out of this world. Fresh, incredible presentation, delicious. The service is extraordinary. You couldn't have a better dining experience anywhere in North America. MU

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and we sat out by the marina for an unforgettable lunch. We had roasted squash blossoms that were a rare treat. My husband had a lobster roll and I had a salad and Bloody Mary. The food, atmosphere and wait staff were all fabulous!

$85 for a special dinner. We were all looking forward to it. We chose this as a birthday present and celebration for two of our party. First you must pay $20 for valet parking (plus tip, of course), then $50 for three glasses of Whispering Angel Rose (normally about $22/bottle, and a very ordinary wine). Then, what a disaster. A... The view was fabulous, and the sunset was spectacular! The calamari was delicious, fresh and not too salty or greasy. The blue cheese salad was crispy and delicious. The price of this place is beyond. Each drink is $16.00. Although the food was good, it was definitely not worth the high price. Our waiter was attentive, but when he handed... More
