Celtica is right off the main road in Newport (America's Cup Ave) and is on the way back to parking or on your way from the Visitors Center to Newport. The food is good - great deals on the raw bar and the drinks are very reasonably priced, especially for the area. It's a great place to hang out.

We had dinner and drinks at this bar on a Sunday night. The limited bar food menu was reasonably priced and tasted fairly good. They had a limited number of beers on tap. The tables had the two person seats that were cool, and the World Cup played on the multiple screens. The big drawback was one person was in... More

Really like the atmosphere, waitress, bartenders, Keno, Lobster Roll, seating, music, charm, and closeness to resort! Would return again next trip.

Celtica Public House is my regular stop in Newport. This place is where the locals go. Good beer, people and food -- next to the Marriott on the water. Their food ranges below the teens where a lobster roll across the street for the tourists costs $22 when a whole Maine lobster runs $6. And, there's more of that as... More

Raw bar oyster special, opened freshly for you at the bar. Nice sized and tasty. Local brews and Irish also. Order at the bar.

great little pub off the beaten path with comfy leather sofas and great draughts! Bartender was friendly and didn't mind when we moved some tables around to accommodate a large-ish group of folks.

This pub house had excellent grilled pizza and good drinks. The service was just ok, maybe the girls were having a bad day. Karoake on Friday and Saturday nights and fills up fast after 9. Overall we had fun playing pool and lsitening to the music.

My wife and I visited Celtica during a one day, one night trip to Newport. We had visited this place a year or so ago and wanted to return. Nothing has changed during our last visit and I say that in a positive way. The food is good, standard bar food and the prices (for both food and drink) are... More

Had 2 drinks and a bowl of clam chowder. Both were fantastic & reasonably priced. Another plus, its next to the Marriott (where I was staying). They had a pool table near the back so we played a game while in there.
