Oh what a dreamy little place. We stopped here for a quick breakfast on a Sunday and were lucky to grab one of the 4 tables in this little bakery. The owner was a delight. The pastries and croissants were delicious (though not cheap, expect about $3 - 4 a pop). We had a cranberry and chocolate scone (should have... More

This is a great little spot on Spring street, set slightly away from the busy Thames Street area. However, it is worth the trek. The sandwiches and pastries are amazing. The staff were very friendly and you can tell they work hard. If you want the best selection of pastries you should get there early as they often sell out.... More

These were the best sandwiches we ever ate. The cafe is in a tiny space, so don't plan on getting a table--there are only 4. The owner obviously loves what she does and the people are very nice. I had the harvest sandwich, which was delicious, and we had a lovely apple pastry while waiting for our sandwiches. Also, delicious... More

Great pastry though I strongly advise take out unless you visit on a beautiful day and have the time to practice patience on one of the two available benches outside. Seating in the tiny cafe is sparse at best and if you’re lucky enough to score a seat, spacing is very tight. Delightfully congenial staff! We tried a selection of... More

I am always looking for a great place to have coffee and a pastry and I found it at Rosemary and thyme. Absolutely the best pastries. Freshly baked with the best quality ingredients, very reasonably priced and great warm friendly service. The best way to start your morning when you are in beautiful newport, RI.

This small, 4-table restaurant served us the best food we had on a short trip to Rhode Island. Incredibly fresh and tasty, everything we ate was excellent. Boy, were we surprised they could even make us crow about a bowl of hummus. These people work hard, and serve you with a smile, even in the middle of lunch rush-hour. But... More

Absolutely love this place! The food is incredible. Although we occasionally ordered something else, we nearly always got the European. Traditional for me, on a baguette for my husband, and without greens for my 4 yr old. The 4 yr old devoured it everytime. They also have great breakfast croissants. Always brought out of town family here and it was... More

The food is absolutely AMAZING!! I went on vacation with my boyfriend and he happened to see this place on tripadvisor. We went to check it out and it was so delicious! We even went back a second time because the food so so good- homemade from scratch you just can't beat it. I had the Mediterranean sandwich, which was... More

Was there on a cold day. Nice to see they've reworked the seating from previous attempts at this site; I tried the veggie with red pepper and just like that, winter became summer:)
