Awesome food! Very nice staff and fresh bread. Small place but cozy. Fresh brewed coffee and great alternate for local breakfast joints

Stopped here for lunch during our day trip to Newport - one of the best sandwiches I've had! Everything was very fresh. I had a turkey sandwich with roasted red peppers, cucumbers and herbed goat cheese, and my boyfriend had a smoked salmon sandwich with cucumber, hard boiled eggs, and the same herbed goat cheese. Delicious! The bread was flavorful and... More

Very creative sandwiches with homemade breads. I would suggest calling ahead and ordering, the wait can be 45 minutes. A very small seating area so I always choose to take away. But well worth the wait if you cannot call. The morning coffee and pastries are the best in Newport. Very reminiscent of a tiny French cafe.

Fantastic place to grab a sandwich and a pastry!!! They have fairly limited opening hours so check the web before you go, definitely go though!! The sandwiches are excellent and pretty large - I usually eat half at a time. Try them all :)

Although the space is small and we visited on a very hot day, we sat in front of a fan by the window and enjoyed every bite of our mozzarella and chicken salad sandwiches. The radio was playing the 70s station on XM and we felt like we were back in college! Definitely recommend. An easy walk from the mansions.

Was really glad to find a local spot for lunch in a city where chains and tourist spots outshine everything else. The menu we saw on line sounded great so we walked from the mansion area over to Rosemary and Thyme. It is a very small place with seating for only 3 or 4 tables. Not air conditioned so very... I 'do love to give this small sandwich shop a good review, but I can't seem to eat their food ! Last trip to Newport they were closed when we stopped in. This trip we went on Monday. Closed. Today they were open! Unfortunately they ran out of food I asked about opening hours tomorrow (Thursday). I was told that... More

On a very rainy day, we found shelter here and had one of the best meals of our trip. My spouse ordered the Ban Mi sandwich and I ordered the Luxembourg sandwich, both were fantastic - warm, hearty, fresh and memorable. They came with a side of chips and we shared a can of soda. We bought some pastries to... More

We ordered the Greek wrap. It was absolutely delicious--fresh and well seasoned. We highly recommend this cafe but there are very few tables and no air-conditioning.
