This little gem is not to be missed! We rolled into town later in the afternoon and needed a quick bite before we continued. Stumbled upon Rosemary & Thyme in the nick of time. They were getting ready to close shortly but we were able to get a sandwich and a salad. The tables were full but one opened up... More

My wife and I got a couple of sandwiches here. They were delicious, even the next day when I finally made it around to eating mine! Tiny shop, but worth a visit for a lunch in downtown Newport!

Visited Newport to tour the mansions. Decided to eat lunch at this cute cafe. Now that's the way to make a sandwich! Everything sounded so good on the menu that any choice was the right choice. Had a brie and pear on a Baguette. All the ingredients were fresh, of good quality and worked so well together. A real winner!

Wandered down Spring St on a chilly Sunday morning recently and was very glad to find Rosemary & Thyme. After a full meal on Saturday night, I was looking for a good cup of coffee and something light but flavor-full and Rosemary & Thyme was just the place. After walking in and seeing the layout, I even called my wife,... More

Found this Cafe on TA and we stopped there for lunch. My husband was groaning a bit as we drove past other restaurants on our way to it. There were 5 of us in our party and we all had different sandwiches. All 5 of us Raved about the flavor and quality of our lunch. Our only regret was that... More

The three of us had lunch here Nov 22. I had the pork, ham and bacon sandwich with sweet potato spread and maple syrup drizzle. Probably the best sandwich I've ever had anywhere. The other two were excellent as well. Small place but definitely worth finding.

So you have toured mansions all day and you are starting to get really hungry. Stroll over to this little cafe for delicious sandwiches on homemade bread. This cozy little hole in the wall is quite the contrast from the opulence of the mansions, sorry no fine china and dollies. But there homemade lunches are so fresh and tasty you... More

When I really want to treat myself, I head to Rosemary and Thyme Cafe for one of their Tuscan sandwiches. I love this so much I've not tried anything else. It's served on a grilled baguette and is just decadent. In reading other reviews, I may have to try the Cuban. While the restaurant is small it's so homey! Just... More

Though the place has only five small tables, the friendly staff produces delicious gooey sandwiches and full-bodied soups. The Cubano panini was the best I ever tasted. Perfectly warm and cozy on a rainy afternoon.
