Fantastic sandwiches and iced coffee

Very cozy and cool but tiny place. Eclectic with an awesome sandwich menu. Service was super friendly and staff recommended a special cold-brewed iced coffee that was very good. My daughter loved the place. We had two very good sandwiches - the Ultimate Grilled Cheese was ridiculous. Best... read more

Great sandwiches!!!!!! Very different and tasty!!!!! Great and unique muffin flavors!!! Also yummy scones and crescents!!!!!Not many tables so be prepared to wait for one or get order to go. Order in advance on phone because there may be a long wait to get food order. Worth it to order in advance!!!! Very reasonable pricing!!!!!

Based on the reviews this was our first stop in Newport this past weekend. Great food and service. On the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I would order from here again, but definitely to go. The place is so tiny and SMOKEY it's hard to breathe and enjoy the amazing food. Take to the beach or... More

My partner and I were visiting Newport and decided to go to Rosemary and Thyme Café for lunch based on these reviews. We walked in and the small place was pretty busy. Most of the tables were taken and people were coming/going picking up their orders. The menu was very appealing. We ordered sandwiches that came with chips. The food... More

Excellent, very small place. Hardly room to sit. Better to take out. Great sandwiches and Pastries are amazing. Will stop by every time I am in that area.

I live in Newport and always enjoy going to Rosemary and Thyme for the Pear and Brie Sandwich. The atmosphere is great. The food is fantastic but the access to the café is difficult as there is very little on-street parking, and the restaurant is very popular. We generally pop over on our scooters.

I absolutely love their sandwiches and coffee. I'm a pretty tall dude, so when I go into cafes I usually value high ceilings and spaciousness, but the close quarters of the cafe actually made it feel very cozy. There were a lot of locals, and it showed. People waltzed into the store throughout the whole day, greeting the cashier and... More

I had the pleasure of meeting owner Matthew while filming (acting) in his charming cafe last week. He is so kind and generous to offer his gem for a student film location. Matthew made sure we knew where to park (after yet another blizzard!). As much as I would like to meet Matthew again, it is the interior of Rosemary... More

I had a truly wonderful experience here. The owners are lovely, welcoming people - so kind and gracious, and always looking out for customers. Excellent service, excellent food. Would go back in a heartbeat. Keep up the good work!

I have stopped in here for lunch several times, and this cafe is not only charming and quaint with a European vibe, fresh pastries at the counter and friendly attendants, but is less touristy than most of the cafes in Newport! I would especially recommend the chicken salad wrap - it is worth coming back for!
