special guacamole with mango and almonds. chorizo pineapple soft tacos, and friendly bartenders. Only problem was that restroom was located outside main restaurant, and required a key.

So I've been here a number of times, they've always had interesting specials and new dishes to try. They are really really good Mexican fusion food. Everything has some touch of Mexican food, but it's definitely NOT pure Mexican. So don't come here if you want authentic/traditional Mexican. Go to Diegos for an awesome flavor experience, with touches of Mexican... More

We went to Diego's as one of my sons likes it there and just came back from the vacation in the DR. We were sat by the hostess at a metal table that was really too small for three, on metal chairs that didn't seat well on the less than level ground. As the two tables to my left were... More

The food at Diegos is always delicious and creative. I would stay away from the pitchers of margaritas. They were expensive and inconsistent.

We went to Diego's with a group of seven women. Our meal was slow in coming out but when it arrived it was well worth the wait. The nachos with their super creamy sauce over the top were delicious with chopped chicken. Several people had the chicken quesadilla and enjoyed that meal as well. The perfect burrito could be missed... More

I've never done a poor trip advisor review until now. I can usually justify that maybe it was an "off" day. The two bartenders acted put out that there were 2 more people at the bar (in addition to the 3 already there). We waited about 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged or asked about a drink. We had... More

The restaurant is small, intimate and friendly. The food is very good, its all comfort food, its not for the salad eaters out there, they do have healthy items, but as good as the food is, you'll want the rich, delicious comfort foods. Its a fun place and a great location

We enjoyed the intimacy and ambience of this little bar. It's a bit loud but that's to be expected. The ONLY drawback is that the restroom is outside the plastic area, across the courtyard. A key is required. The food was excellent, we ordered pork tacos. The chips were ok. We will go again.

It was great mexican food and I was excited to see they had quesadila that had lobster. I ordered it but he waitress came back to tell me they discontinued the lobster for the winter. I was disappointed because I thought that would have been very unique. Instead I ordered blackend shrimp and was very happy. The guacamole was a... More

We just visited Diego's in Newport on a recommendation from out hotel. This place is small and cozy and even though we visited in November and we were sitting on a patio area with plastic draped all around, we were perfectly warm and cozy. Tables were patio style and a bit small and round but sufficient. All three of us... More
