Yummy Mexican, small menu

We ate at Diego's recently and enjoyed our food a lot. The atmosphere is nice if it is warm enough to sit outside but we did have to share a high table with another couple which was a bit strange. I didn't have the highest of hopes for Diego's food based on other reviews but we were surprised both... read more

This place is to die for. I could sit here all day and eat drink and eat drink and be merry while eat and drink again. There duck empanadas are F$@king life worthy. The guacamole is the best I have ever tasted and there margaritas were a craft of genius all on there own. I would love to meet the... More

We stopped by on Friday and had the fried green tomatoes (with Shrimp), and tacos & salad. Really nice, well done, and the outdoor seating was great.

The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere of the wharf area is always inviting. The food was very good. I recommend the guacamole which was great and the fresh salt and peppered chips made it even better. The fish tacos were excellent and were a perfect blend of fish and other ingredients. Also, their mezcal drinks were very good.

Seeing the words Mexican Fusion can be a little scary but Diego's pulls it off and well. No stranger to Mexican food after years of California living I have high expectations. Diego's menu has a nice variety of meats, fish and vegetarian options that mix sometimes surprising ingredients. We dined on the Cauliflower Mushroom Quesadilla and the Lamb Burrito. The... More

Diego's has the best margaritas I have ever had. All of their ingredients are made fresh and they use quality tequila. They also have some original margarita flavors. The food is also excellent, we had the spring rolls and rangoon's with a Mexican twist they were both excellent. The service is outstanding. All of the employees are so friendly and... More

Delicious food, friendly service and a great atmosphere. Go for the nachos. Best I've ever tasted. Reasonably priced as well.

You had me at fresh salsa. Forget the name of mine, but it had three eggs, hash browns, bacon, salsa and sweetbread. I had the eggs over easy, in retrospect I should had had them scrambled. The home-fries were great and so was the bacon. My wife had the Texas stuffed French toast. Add a side of bacon and it... More

A late afternoon snack of roasted vegetable nachos and margaritas were perfect after a day of mansion touring! Do it! Good fresh food and strong margaritas. Gets crowded, go early.
