My wife and I thought this place was very good. We had the four course menu but we still had plenty of choice. The food was very well cooked and was bursting with flavour plus the wine parings with each course were excellent. It's a bit different to the standard fare in newport and we would definitely recommend it.

Having toured New England longing for a good dinner without fries the Tallulah was like Heaven. We enjoyed every bite and will bring the very best recommendation to our friends (also in Denmark). Thank you to the entire Tallulah Team - you made a great difference !

I have been hearing about Tallulah's from friends since the moved to Rhode Island. The restaurant was nice looking, not too pretentious. I was though leery of the fixed price menu. It was expensive, but I had heard good things. Afterwards, I thought it was well worth it. The portions are small, but four courses do fill you up. The... More

The chef/owner, Jake Rojas, has worked in Las Vegas as well as other high end spots and it shows. The menu is all locally sourced, expertly prepared and very creative. Who would ever think popcorn works well with lobster?

I've eaten at this establishment a half dozen times and have yet to have a bad dish---let alone a meal. The 3 or 4 course seasonal meals are exquisitely prepared. Serving sizes tend to be a little on the small side--but the courses plus some chef tastings more than make up for it. I frequently photograph the plates before diving... More

What a great find! We can't recommend this place high enough. We had the four course tasting menu with matched wine. The food was perfect and of a size whereby you could appreciate it. They accommodated our wheat free needs with great ease - no fuss. And the wine choices were great, introducing us to some new ones. Thank you... More

Everything about Tallulah is worthy of praise...the attentive, friendly service, the simple but romantic atmosphere, and, most of all, the awesome food. Days later, thinking about all that we ate and enjoyed still brings a smile to our faces. Don't miss this.

What a gem we discovered also on our last night in Newport. We selected this restaurant over Bouchard simply because everything in Bouchard comes with sauce. And boy are we glad we did Received and seated with minimum fuss no need to worry about dress code and everyone in there was enjoying themselves which is a good sign. Remy our... More

Our last night of our vacation and Tallulahs made our last hurrah enjoyable. They were able to accommodate a white wine only request with their tasting menu (red gives me migraines). Their service made us feel like they were cooking only for us. The flavor combinations were incredible. Loved their use of herbs and microgreens. Definitely worth the visit!
