At first glance this is just another Irish Pub, but what we found made this a Newport favorite for lunch. Food was well prepared and service was excellent. They were happy to tailor the menu to take care of my wife's dietary needs. But best of all was their specialty sandwich, the Reuben, which was fantastic. Will return the next... More

Great Irish pub atmosphere with the perfect location . Met lots of friendly people (locals and tourists) both times we stopped in. The scotch eggs were awesome. Wifey loved the potpie.

Stopped in for a casual lunch with the family. It's a typical Irish pub w/ lots of Irish signs, antiques etc. The food is nothing fancy-basic pub grub, but is was all very good. Along with very friendly service, a great place to stop for a casual lunch while in Newport.

The chicken salad sandwich with cranberry relish and brie cheese was just amazing. Chicken tenders were just that. Tender and plentiful. Would have given 5 stars but service was was a bit slow. Greeted right away but took a while to get drinks and food. That being said I would still come back for the food.

Ate lunch here our first day in Newport and it was pretty good. Appetizers were mozzarella rectangulars but the coating didn't have much taste. New England clam chowder was traditional style. Thick and creamy with a good taste. Fish sandwich was like fish n chips but on a roll. French fries were pieces not whole sticks. Cole slaw was excellent.

I've decided after this attempt that I really just don't like Irish Pub food. I've tried beef stew, as I did here and think it tastes like Dinty Moore from a can. My husband says maybe Dinty Moore was Irish and that is what it should taste like! His meal did nothing for me either so in general I am... More

Our family met for Sunday supper, 2 tweens and four adults. We were seated immediately and had a server within minutes of seating. The young man was quite friendly and was able to give us advice for our eat/drink choices. Four fish & chip & 2 busker burgers, in addition we ordered potato skins and onion rings. Apps arrived quickly... More

Stopped by a few years ago when the restaurant we planned to eat at was packed. What a pleasant surprise! We've recently returned and still love this place. Great beer selection and a wide variety of menu items. The food is absolutely fantastic - highly recommend the burger and Reuben. The atmosphere and staff make this place. Totally warm and... More
