Great little Irish pub

Stopped in for a few drinks on a mini bar crawl of Thames Street and the place was hopping, even though it was snowy and FREEZING out. Luckily we were able to snag 2 spots at the bar pretty quickly. We shared a flight of 4 beers. They were a pretty good size. The servers were very friendly and... read more

Great pub environment. It reminded me of a place I had visited in Galway, Ireland. Our food was wonderful and the customer service was prompt and friendly.

I have eaten at Buskers several times whilst visiting Newport. The food, service and atmosphere is very nice. It does not distinguish itself too much from similar type pubs of this sort but; I would recommend you stop in for a drink or food the next time you are in Newport. You won't be disappointed.

It is in a convenient area so that is a plus. It is a typical pub type restaurant. The food was good and came out fast. The menu wasnt huge but had a decent selection. It was definitely good but nothing to rave about. Worth a try, but I don't need to go back.

Walking around Newport we saw Bunker's and stopped in for a late lunch. it was not crowded at that time, the service was prompt & friendly. I had the Famous Ruben and it was good with nice large slices of corned beef. The Clam Chowder was ok (not the best I ever had). The only issue I had (no control... More

We were walking up Thames toward a different restaurant, but it was raining and my husband said let's go here. "Here" was Busker's. The food and atmosphere were terrific. I had a delicious Salmon dish and my husband enjoyed their chicken pot pie. They also had a delicious homebaked soda bread. Yum! We would definitely go there again on a... More

You must try the Corned Beef Reuben or the Fish and Chips. They are both excellent. Great place to have a sandwich and catch a game on one of the big screen TVs.

The food was okay and I had trouble finding something that really sounded spectacular. Not many menu options if you're not into Irish food. My fish sandwich turned out to be very good, but I think fish sandwiches are kind of hard to mess up. I was disappointed by the beer menu and thought there would more options. The service... More

My wife and I were looking for warm comfort food on a cold winter night. We shared a Cottage Pie and a Chicken Pot Pie and could not have been happier. Great food and excellent service.
