Love their coffee and breakfast when I have time to stay a bit. Atmosphere is true cafe/reading room style. Everytime I go to Newport there seem to be changes in establishments. It is such a relief to find Ocean Coffee roasters still the same. more

Cozy atmosphere, great coffee, yummy food. Servers are always friendly. Jonathan's Ocean Coffee Roaster's is hands down my favorite place to go for breakfast in Newport. I'm determined to raise the rankings of the places that deserve it. more
Part diner, part take out coffee joint. Lots of locals. Friendly place the morning we were there. I have been going to OCR for years, the coffee is the best on the island and the service is great! Always a great place to hang out... My only complaint is that the Bakery and Pastries are not as good as they were, Some one should find the old Pastry chef and bring back the Rave of The wave... more
OCR is the only establishment in town that has fresh microroasted coffee in-house.
