Hate the long lines - but the food is excellent~

Good food! But filling out this 100 minimum review sucks. Make sure you eat the sweet pork it is the best!

I get the enchiladas every time. They are superb. Get a side of fresh, hot tortillas and dip them in the cheese dip. Family members love the burritos and salads. Fresh, high quality, lost cost food!

I have spent almost 20 years bringing clients here! The service is personal and often by long term staff. Check to see if there is an art show in the main hall after lunch. Consistent!

Have been going to cafe rio for years. Why ? Disappointment rate is less than 1%. Quality is consistent and the value is there. Their stuffed peppers is fenominal but it is not an everyday dish. Salads are large and worth the time to savor .

Cafe Rio is our go to place so naturally when we are traveling and it's late, we search for a Rio rather than finding a drive thru. This one we will not be returning to. The floors and kitchen were a mess! The special is fideo on Fridays and the only guy on the front line didn't know what it... More

A number of reviews complain that the food is not real Mexican, but American or Utah-Mexican and that the wait is too long. I love real Mexican food, but I also lover American-Mexican and Cafe Rio has some very distinctive offerings that are quite good. Fresh tortillas made in front of you and you guide them as to what you... More

Cafe rio is great If you want to pay $10 for a head of lettuce. Palacing an Order is like trying to teach a toddler chemistry. More often then not you will find that the toddler got your order wrong, which you can either deal with or go back through the hour long line to get what you actually ordered.... More

If you haven't been to Cafe Rio yet, you are probably visiting or passing through Utah. There are several dozen locations in the state including one at the SLC airport and a few in neighboring states. I have been to most UT restaurants because I use them to cater food for my job. But, I also take my family when... More

I always get the pork salad. I cut the whole thing in half and save it for the next day. I just really wish they had a drive thru!

Long lines make you think something awesome is waiting for you, but... Well the food is ok. They fix it fresh in front of you, so you can tell them exactly what you want. You choose your dish and then the beans and sauce you want and then there is a second station, where they add lettuce and such. The... More
