My fix for Japanese food

Koi is tucked into an unassuming strip mall off a main drag. When you are inside, however, the atmosphere is very serene. I have eaten dinners at Koi and have ordered take-out. I haven't been to Japan, but I've travelled quite a bit around the U.S. and I regularly visit Koi because the food is great, the service is good, and the prices aren't too bad. I usually get the salmon bento box, but the tuna tataki is really good too, and the sushi rools are all awesome too.

The Sushi was good. The options are excellent. The decor is very good. It seemed overpriced to me compared to other restaurants with similar quality food.

Really good sushi, and lots of options. Prices are a little high but it is in the middle of the desert...

I travel to California often and I haven't found a Japanese restaurant that's better than Koi. By quite a margin. Their food is very very good, and quite reasonably priced. The portions are good. If you like Japanese food or want to try it for the first time, I would recommend Koi!

My husband & I usually share a plate. We love the katsu (pork or chicken), and the steak, and we just had the Katsu Curry last night. Delicious!! It has carrots, potatoes, and pork (or chicken) katsu. Our waiter was very friendly, kept our drinks filled, and gave great service. Other times the service has been hit-or-miss, but never bad.... I'm not going to often to have Japanese food. My last time was around three years ago and I think that was the best of my Try. Overall agreed my visit to the restaurant and probable will try it soon again.

Large rolls, similar or larger than Orem's Happy Sumo, the beno box was fun and good too. Price $15-20 p.p. Service was a bit slow and not the most attentive. Decent atmosphere. Overall good but I would give Happy Sumo the edge for best quality sushi in Utah County. For a little less $$ I would go to Toyko in... More

Living in Lehi, my wife and I find it challenging to find good sushi in Utah County. We have patronized Koi several times and although we are big fans of the rolls, the service has always been poor. Regardless of when we have dined, we have slow service. What pushed us over the edge was when we went to Koi... More

My husband and I have eaten here several times and we love it. We recently chose Koi for our 5 year anniversary dinner because it is one of our favorite restaurants. Their sushi rolls are amazing. This time we got the Las Vegas roll which is a favorite and tried the Chameleon roll for the first time. Every bite was... More
