Nice selection of wines; varied menu, though the lunch portions are a tad small. Lobster ravioli is excellent as was the papardelle. Service is gracious and friendly. Glad that the large group who seemed to think they were the only patrons in the place left before our late lunch was served. Perhaps staff could be more attentive to the atmosphere... More

Visited Trattoria Aroma for dinner and drinks recently. The bar was busy and a good first stop before being seated. Both pasta dishes, Rigatoni Aroma and Pappardelle Piemonte, were delicious, if not on the smaller side. The only disappointment was that they were out of many of the appetizers and pasta dishes and our reservation was not that late (8:30... More

One of Buffalo's finest restaurants is sliding downhill. After consistently excellent dining experiences over many years, we have had two disappointing visits in a row, mostly regarding service and portions. New ownership?… new management?… "bottom line" priorities trumping quality and customer service?… The most recent experience this evening… As we waited at the bar for 30 minutes beyond our reservation... First off I'd like to say this is now one of my new favorite restaurants. Secondly, they prepared an appetizer and an entree for our friend who was vegan. (she called ahead). The appetizer was amazing. I ordered a couple apps instead of an entree and I was so pleased. The mussels fritte I believe it was called was big... More

We made reservations for 7pm on a Saturday night and got seated at 7:30pm. The wait at the bar was enjoyable and the beer selection was good. I love when restaurants have a cocktail menu, and they did! We were seated in a booth and really enjoyed the atmosphere. There were some vegetarian pastas on the menu, but since We... More

Ordered several items to be picked up. Pasta with house made chicken sausage, thin crust pizza and cezear salad. Would not order those items again. The lobster ravioli was much better.

Trattoria Aroma's use of locally sourced food has really paid off. I had a handmade pasta dish with remarkably fresh shrimp and cherry tomatoes. The tomatoes were delicious; they burst in the mouth with a flavor so like summer I was amazed! For a while now they've been locally sourcing food, and these local, hot house tomatoes are indicative of... More

A friend of mine recommended this place as he goes to their Williamsville location and the Buffalo location has a bigger menu, so we thought we would go here. Atmosphere was good(Valentine's Day), the appetizer was excellent (we had the cheese & meat plate (forget the name of it) but was a meal in itself. The dinner was very good.... More

This restaurant is always busy regardless when I visit. My friend lives down the street and I am so envious that she has such close access! The ambiance is such a positive vibe with excellent service. The food is fabulous! I ordered the Osso Bucco with risotto....so delicious. I recommend this restaurant to all of my Canadian friends so that... More

The food was amazing! The wine was exquisite, and the ambiance was delightful! Will defnitely go back if I'm ever around the Buffalo area. I recommend it!
