Superb Steak

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here with a splurge. Steak for two was incredibly tender and delicious and expensive, $200 for dinner for two. Our steak was done as order, served sliced with sautéed onions and mushrooms. It was really fabulous. Any of the salads or sides are plenty for two... read more

Old style steakhouse that Sinatra would have approved of big time! The steaks are as you'd expect and the waiters know the details regarding the aging and the dry-rub, etc. Heavy atmosphere as you can expect from an old-style steakhouse. The valet parking adds to making the patrons feel important, if you need that.

I had to eat at the bar on Saturday night as it was packed so, get a reservation. My filet was perfect but the potatoes au gratin were not very cheesy. Didn't stop me from eating them. That being said, the asparagus with hollandaise sauce was great. The sides are for more than one person. The staff was very friendly... More

My second visit to Buffalo Chophouse and probably my last. Yes, the steak is peerless. My filet mignon was exquisitely flavored, melt in my mouth tender, and cooked exactly to perfection, as was my companion's. The rest of the meal? So-so, at best. The exorbitantly priced sides were totally without imagination, or for that matter, flavor. For $10+ each, one... More

We had dinner there before the Stevie Wonder concert. It is excellent food and service but very pricey. A place for special occasions only.

I was told not to book just turn up and sit the bar. The staff were super friendly. The local beers were excellent and the steak was one of the best I have ever eaten. If you are a couple or more, booking is essential.
