We've been here a few times, it's very hit or miss in terms of food quality, over the weekend, I had the 8oz filet and it was clearly medium rare, not medium and the entire entrée was warm at best, not piping hot like you would expect for a top-end restaurant. I asked for a substitution on the not so... More

Every time I go to the Chophouse its a different place. Service is sometimes awesome and other times awful. Bone in Kansas City Strip is great and so are the Martinis but overall not as good as the best around the country like Bones in Atlanta or Burns in Tampa.

Perfect 8 oz. filet, probably the best in town. The choices are well varied and the portions are large. The prices are high but well worth the experience. A martini at the bar will set you back $12.50 but it is a very large drink. My glass of wine, Clos Du Val was also $12.50, not a large pour. Now,... More

Short and sweet- absolutely the best steak I've ever had. Perfectly cooked medium rare, perfect seasoning, excellent piece of meat. Service excellent, wine excellent. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.

Steaks were great. Service wasn't fast, but we did have a big group. Appetizers were just as good as the steaks. Fancier than it really needs to be.

Maybe I'm missing something but why in the world should anyone be expected to pay these prices? The steaks are good but everything else then costs extra. And I see no special skill behind sauteing some veg and baking a potato that justifies these prices. I think you can get better food at better prices elsewhere. The location is good... More

Been here several times and the service seems to be declining. Slow service, big hair sitting under my filet, and really over seasoned meat for most of the table. Now that I've had some time to reflect I can't help but feel we were on the receiving end of a few expensive restaurant pranks. Upon arrival the reception wasn't great... More

Nicely appointed restaurant. Attentive but very slow service. The food is good but not to the level of a premier steakhouse. Too expensive for what it is, in my opinion a second tier steakhouse.

I ate here on May 13th, 2014 for a business dinner and this was my 2nd time around. My customer chose this place once again and since it is in Buffalo it is probably the best steak in downtown as there are not many fine dining steak choices. We started off with French onion soup and their version has a... More

If you want to spend ridiculous amounts of money and experience a VERY DIRTY and Extremely Gaudy atmosphere then this is the place for you! This place stays in business because it has been the "place" for so long. But look around people! While my dinners here have been okay, it is very hard for me to get past the... More
