I went with work colleagues for a working lunch, and ordered the Monet Panini sandwich, which is marinated artichokes, roasted red peppers and Portabello mushrooms with provolone on olive focaccia. It was HUGE, I could only eat half, and the taste was fabulous. I found the atmosphere charming, the service good without being fussy or intrusive, and the price, for... More

This restaurant was not good value or overly good quality. The entrees were mid priced with no soup, salad or bread. $36.00 for two plates of average food, no atmosphere and two cans of pop. Was not the romantic dinner I had envisioned.

Tried to make a reservation but they don't take them. Arrived and requested table for 4 outdoors. Hostess explains they don't seat 4 outdoors. Tables are bolted down because someone was. stealing them so only tables for 2. Buffalo has about a dozen nice nights in the summer and to not seat 4 outside is ridiculous. There were several empty... More

Once we had a bite of Romeo and Juliet's Portobello and Gorgonzola pizza- we can't get Pizza from anywhere else. Our other favorite has artichokes and black olives and is simply heaven. Every bite is bursting with flavor without the greasiness of most pizzas. We also love their desserts and have yet to try one we didn't like. And the... More

Romeo and Juliet's, an authentic Italian eatery in Buffalo's Italian neighborhood on rejuvenating Hertel Avenue, always provides top notch service, delectable main menu items and exciting special entrees and a pleasant atmosphere. While all Buffalo citizens can enjoy the 'best pizza around' just around the corner from their house, I highly recommend trying any of the pizzas here. More Italian... More

Cueing in Dean Martin singing "Amore!" is the only thing that can make this place better. By far the best panini's I have ever eaten from the combination of fresh Italian bread, quality ingredients, and a well seasoned panini press. And add the choice of flavored mayo (e.g., garlic, roasted pepper, & others) to give it a bit more oomph... More

Very good spaghetti and meatballs, excellent mushroom portebello pizza. The place was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. We were sat down quickly and our food came fast. Server was excellent for it being so busy. It was my nieces first vist she had a Wonderful time.

I love that they are open late so that you can grab dessert after dinner on the weekend. I would love to try a pizza one night!

Wow. If this is the #5 best restaurant in Buffalo, it's a sad statement on the quality of restaurants in Buffalo! We went there for dinner after my son's basketball game (we live out of town). The owner was the host and not friendly at all. We waited for a table for 20 minutes and once seated, were treated in... More

After visiting city hall and driving around downtown Buffalo we decided we needed something to eat. We didn’t see a lot of options driving around downtown, so we headed back to our B&B and on the way stopped along Hertel and decided on this place. We started with the large Risotto ball to share - AWESOME! My wife had the... More
