Description: Betty's is located in an historic building in the colorful Allentown neighborhood in Buffalo. A large part of its ambience is created by exhibits of the work of local artists, which change every two months. Our full service bar features New York State distilled spirits, an interesting and well-rounded wine and beer list and special seasonal cocktails. While famous for its Sunday brunch, Betty's is also a popular place for dinner for pre-theatre and pre-symphony patrons, for business breakfasts and lunches and for special family occasions. Our bar is open until midnight or later Thursay through Saturday and is the perfect place for those looking for a mature, low-key bar scene.

This was a nice surprise. It had good reviews but we were still surprised at how good everything was. Service, location, ambiance, and food!

The food served at Betty's is quite unique and EXCELLENT. This would be a regular stop for us if we lived in Buffalo. Try it!

A restored old brick building with a pleasant canvas covered awning contains a small restaurant on a residential corner just a block from Elmwood Avenue downtown. Think old bare wood floors and local artwork. They have expanded in recent years and now serve more elaborate dinners and have installed a built in bar. Parking is tricky on the neighboring streets. We... More

Went to Betty's for Blunch (breakfast and lunch?) - very difficult to decide what to order as there were so many unusual enticing options! One of the soups of the day was White Bean, Sausage, and Greens and it was very tasty. The food overall was good and the service was friendly and prompt.

It was lunchtime during the Allentown Art Festival when we found Betty's. Betty's is located a couple of streets from the main street where the festival was. It is located within a neighborhood, off the main drag. This place has a real Austin Texas kind of vibe. The menu is eclectic and a little pricey than I expected. The décor... More

We had a delicious breakfast here! I just loved my omelette and the charm of the building. The boys had amazing cookies. It's one of those places that is a gift from hipsters.

Quaint place, tucked into a cute old neighborhood. Attentive service. Food was very good and I would have given it 5 stars but I thought it was pricey. Most breakfasts were $9 or so which seemed high. I'd recommend it though and I'd go back.

Thinking we showed up just after the waitstaff were berated for something or did not get the raise they were promised. Yes, its a crummy job, but it is the dfference between a great restaurant and a good one. That said, we relaxed on the patio and had the quinoa salads with fruit and chicken. A bit skimpy on the... we were in buffalo for a short visit, and were staying near allentown, so had to try bettys for breakfast. we got there about 930 on a sunday morning, and were pleased to get a seat right away -- if we'd arrived 15 minutes later, we'd have been looking at a 20 minute wait. bettys certainly appears to be 'the'... If you like traditional breakfast/coffee spots that are disappearing and being replaced with hipster joints that sell $8.00 bagels, this is your place. Lovely breakfast spot with traditional eggs/bacon/toast and good hot fresh coffee all done right for reasonable prices. Nice waitresses - recommend.
