Have been to Bacchus several times - both for the bar area and for dinner. Had a pre-theatre dinner this week that was tremendous as usual. The service was excellent and the food was superior. I had the Special Butternut squash soup of the day which was unique in presentation and delicious. I followed up with my favorite spinach salad... More

Absolutely love Bacchus--I can completely rely on it being great every time. wonderful bar drinks, imaginative menu, great appetizers, nicely done patio. Even when it's crowded we like to stop here and have appetizers & a quick meal at the bar--best way to get to a show on time!

Every step of our meal was wonderful. We started with the Fig Gorgonzola featured app. We had never experienced Gorgonzola that didn't over power everything, it was mild and creamy. I had the Ahi Tuna, unbelievable! My husband had the Gorgonzola encrusted rib eye and ate every morsel. The service was friendly and engaging. Ask for a table at the... More

The food was excellent, but on the pricey side. Desserts were $8.00 for a very small serving, but were outstanding. The building has great character, like many older buildings. I didn't care for the way they were trying to make it look upscale, but others in my group didn't mind. Considering the location and building, the decor and service seemed... More

I love the bar and the steaks. Just as good as the Chophouse and the excellent service is more consistent.

We decided on all small plates for dinner. Everything was deliciously prepared and artfully presented. Excellent service. The patio could use a few plants to create a garden atmosphere.

Our family of seven adults went to this restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff were pleasant and efficient. All the meals were great, except for one. Do not order the rack of lamb!! My husband and my son had the tuna and they said it was fantastic. My daughter and grand-daughter had the chicken, which they thoroughly enjoyed.... More

We sat at the bar and had appetizers and wine. Perfect for the two of us. The Shrimp and Calamari was AWESOME! Very popular around 7-8 so make reservations, especially on weekends!

This restaurant in downtown Buffalo is easily one of the best I have encountered in all of my travels. I have lived in NY and LA and Brian Mietus, head chef and owner, has done a wonderful thing here. The care and art expressed thru the delicious meals shine thru every bite. The plates are interesting and palate inspiring. As... More

We had a terrific dinner at Bacchus, and will happily return there. Food and service are excellent. We really enjoyed the roasted beet salad, pecan crusted Atlantic salmon, and the Bouillabaisse. Great wine list. A great dinner choice in downtown Buffalo. Free valet parking is available.
