Referred here by hotel clerk. Not very busy. Good service. Food was good with large servings. Seemed like a place that the locals would hang out.

I have been here a couple times and have had no issues. Sunday 06/29/2014 will be my last visit. 1.) The place is getting worn down and ghetto looking! I usually go in the evening so this time in the daylight hours was a revelation!! 2.) It smells mildew. 3.) The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting!!! 4.) Why would you have... More

Stopped in during a recent visit to town to see family. asked them to take us to get some real buffalo wings!! They did not disappont! A quirky little place, felt like we were sitting in a home dining room looking out over the back patio! Food was good, reasonably priced. A great stop!

I went to Gabriel's Gate the night of the Taste of Country to avoid the traffic and busy atmosphere of other downtown bars, and I'm glad the adventure brought me here. Our group of 8 stopped in for a later dinner and were seated right away. The atmosphere outside was bustling: the Allentown Art Festival was gearing up for the... More

So I just returned to my office after lunch at Gabriel’s Gate. I was there about 1pm. I had read so many great reviews about the chicken wings there that I have been trying for months to find time to go and try them myself. Articles such as this: http://www.buffalochow.com/2010/01/top_100_buffalowny_foods_resta_1.html, or this: http://www.urbanspoon.com/r/42/460758/restaurant/Central/Gabriels-Gate-Buffalo, made me very eager to try them.... Historic building with many locals present. Good choices, good prices on menu. It was easy walk from my Holiday Inn on Delaware. Nice historic neighborhood to walk in. So nice not to be a chain restaurant.

A must stop when in Buffalo. Always great food, service and atmosphere. Buffalo is known for great chicken wings and this Gabriel's Gate; in my opinion is in the top ten!

The four of us arrived at this place for a much deserved Saturday morning lunch. The food was decent but the service was awful. It took nearly a half an hour to get drinks, our waitress took our orders twice and just didn't seem to care one bit. Now, I'm constantly on the road here in the lower 48, eating... More

Wanted to try some genuine Buffalo wings in Buffalo. The hotel recomend this place and it hit the spot. Lovely waitress named Chloe was very pleasant. I was by myself so it wasn't a big night out, but it was just what I looking for. Friendly, comfortable, good choice of beer and Buffalo wings. A good night out for a... More

We live right around the corner from here and finally decide to see what the fuss is all about. We had French unions soup to start, OMG it was delicious, and plenty of cheese too. Then we have a double order of wings, they were big and succulent. Very juicy and crispy a hard combo To get with wings if... More
