Lovely, quiet little place that offers unique sandwiches and salads in Allentown. Not easy to find parking because of location, so we would usually walk there from the office.

The food quality is extremely high. Prices are modest. It's surprising what great dinners and lunches you get here for cheap. We love this place Waitstaff are wonderful

We were planning a picnic nearby, and one member of our group offered to pick up lunch. We all reviewed the menu online and made our choices. My eggplant and artichoke on Costanza roll was wonderful with lots of feta cheese. If I get back there, I would try the Burgundy Turkey or maybe the Reuben. There were raves all... More

We were starving from walking all day and although we weren't sure at first whether we wanted to stop decided to enjoy a meal with their outdoor café style seating. The prices were reasonable. I got the house salad and my friend a roast beef sandwich. We both enjoyed it very much. Probably one of the best salads I have... More

Five of us went to dinner and had a wonderful experience! The food and appetizers were delicious! Our waitress was fabulous, I wish I could remember her name. This is my second visit at the "new" location (62 Allen St). They have a wonderful selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Full bar. Love their menu! I highly recommend Cafe 59... More

we placed a take out order. A salad, polenta wings and a chicken finger sub. When we got home the chicken finger sub had lettuce and tomato on it. There was no blue cheese, onions or hot sauce like explained on the menu. The chicken was dry. I phoned Cafe 59 to let them know some condiments were missing. The... More

Been to this location a couple times for lunch and each time, the food and service was spot on. Their daily soup choices are excellent (and only $1 add-on to a meal). I tried the chicken barley and curry cauliflower - both yummy!! The salmon was great for $12, just a bit disappointed with the minute rice side. The cafe... More

Great lunch spot. Awesome food and great prices. Not only is the food delicious, the portion size is more than fair. Variety of different items from hot lunches to sandwiches. Everything is 10 dollars and under pretty much too.

This cafe served us well as a place to get a coffee, a little breakfast, and catch up with some conversation. It was early in the morning and not very crowded, but neither was it empty and everyone around seemed to be feeling fine (not always the case at that hour). Breakfast stays simple, with an offering of a few... More
