A Buffalo Institution

Chefs is a Buffalo institution for Italian American classics. Deliciously junky spaghetti parm is a treat you won't forget. Watch for judges, broadcasters and sports stars when you go.

I was looking forward to dinner at this famous restaurant, but was overall disappointed. The service was very good. But the food was just average and a bit overpriced. There are far better Italian restaurants in Buffalo and nearby.

I have had many lunches, dinners & business meetings here. The food is always good. I recently hosted a business meeting there for lunch. The waitress assigned to our room was very pleasant & quick to respond to any needs. The food was great & quality is always consistent. That's the reason I choose this restaurant for our meetings. I've... More

I have lived in Buffalo all my life, and this is my first time dinning here. Food was good I had chicken sorentino and husband had veal steak. We shared the fried ravioli. Prices were responsible too. Waitress was super friendly and personable. Didn't finish my meal because I wanted dessert which was OK. Not sure if I would go... More

Chef's is a well known Italian joint on Seneca St in Buffalo. Their famous dish is the Spaghetti Parm, which is spaghetti covered in a generous heap of melted cheese. My favorite thing about Chef's is their Spaghetti sauce which is made fresh and is the best I ever had. This is a great place to eat at before going... More

We've been there several times, always getting the Spaghetti Parmesan. I'd say more times than not, our experience was ruined by a grumpy waiter or waitress. The twist during our last visit was a rude host. He was so unpleasant, while standing waiting for him to come back, my wife turned to me and asked if I wanted to leave.... More

Always busy, great service, this Buffalo restaurant is popular with locals and with celeberties and politicians. If you never had spaghetti parmesian this is the place to do it. Extensive Italian menu. Homemade bread perfect for cleaning off the plate. We have been going here for over 30 years and often celebrated family events here.

The best place in Buffalo to get Italian food. Get the spaghetti parm, order the large and bring some home. If you're in Buffalo call and make reservations because you'll be glad you did.

Arrived with 4 other guys, seated at a nice corner round table. Totally unpretentious place. Most of the waitstaff veterans who have been serving repeat customers for years. Vary nice apps, with a bit different flair on the "peppers." All dishes come with cheese on top of cheese and their great sauce, which is sold retail also. Bring your Lipitor!

I had a cup of minestrone soup and a small spaghetti parmesan. It was very very filling My guest had a medium and we took some if home, Meatballs or Sausage are extra but well worth it.
