Description: Rated four stars by Janice Okun of the Buffalo news is one reason why Ristorante Lombardo, is often referred to as the "Best Italian in Buffalo". Open since 1975 our menus consist of the Chef's original creations inspired by authentic Italian preparations. Our kitchen boasts a wood burning oven which is used to prepare several of our menu items and specials such as whole roasted fish and Chicken, as well as wood fired Pizzas. Fresh handmade pastas highlight the menu and change with the seasons. An award winning Caesar Salad is prepared table side and the daily specials are just that - special! Complement your meal with one of the more than 20 fine wines available by the glass or from our extensive wine list. After dinner, sample one of the house made desserts accompanied by espresso, cappuccino a fine port, grappa or dessert wine. Ristorante Lombardo's "3 for $30" special available Monday through Thursday is a hit among customers who appreciate great food on a reasonable budget.

The table-side prepared Caesar Salad is to die for. Fun to watch them make it. Great specials but their entire menu is wonderful. Lunch on Fridays is a nice break. Great wine list. Has been a favorite of mine for over 30 years and I will continue going back. Never been disappointed!

We get to Lombardo's infrequently, but always enjoy our meal. We are always made to feel like regular patrons. Our meals have always been very well prepared and presented. Portions are somewhat small, but adequate. Much more food and one would be uncomfortable. The wine selections are very nice and reasonably priced for a white tablecloth restaurant. All staff are... You want authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place. Tom Lombardo has been doing this right since 1975. The wines and food always add a fresh twist to the menu. service is superb. Value is excellent. One of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world.

What I appreciate most about Lombardo is the combination of consistently superb food and warm, personable service. No pretensions here. If your nana ran an upscale restaurant, it would look a lot like Lombardo. When the occasion requires complete assurance of an excellent meal, service with both skill and a smile, no hassle and no surprises, I head for Lombardo.

Have been going here many years. Always excellent service and fabulous food. Upscale Italian and continental cuisine. Newer, interesting cocktail menu. Extensive wine list at many price points. Like that the menu has some changes when seasons change, but that the old standbys remain. They also have nightly specials and frequently offer a value style menu during the week. We... More

Great pre Valentines dinner. Louis the server was great and all service and greeting friendly. Big wine list and the #3 for 33 menu was great albeit smaller portions but very tasty. Monk fish, beet salad and soups were super. The eggplant Parm was different in it is not fried and served with tasty seasoned bread wedges instead of pasta. Great... More

My date selected this for our Valentines' Day dinner, and it was perfect. We were greeted and seated almost immediately at our reservation time, despite the packed restaurant. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. The food was perfect in presentation and taste. Every woman was given a rose after dinner, a cute touch.

6 of us decided to try lombardos around Xmas time. Never heard of it, just went on a whim. Went during the week, we reserved a table ahead of time. They offer valet parking, and a coat check. Service overall, was great! They had any wine you could think of...but the food was lacking. I had the lobster ravioli which... More

Consistently this restaurant never disappoints. Having Tom Lombardo on the premise certainly helps. John Spasiano behind the bar is a huge plus, as he knows his wines well and will share his knowledge with you. Now Tom's son is stepping into that arena and doing a terrific job. A fav in the WNY market.
