Airport wings- plane cancelled

went to the anchor bar at the airport while waiting for the fog to lift. Really fast service, meaty wings and large drinks. Downed a plate by myself which was a good thing since I did not get home till dinner time. Great waitress, nice people.

My husband and I stopped on our way into Canada to experience wings at the origin of the buffalo wings, Anchor Bar. The wings were definitely the best ever with the perfect amount of crunch and sauce. However, the grand surprise in this Italian cuisine treasure. I ordered the lasagna which was a TREMENDOUS order covered in exquisite pasta sauce... More

Had not been there in years. The Anchor Bar is more kitschy than i remember it being in past decades but the wings are still great! It is a definite must on any Buffalo visit.

Last week, my Wife and I were in Buffalo and I always wanted to try wings from their birthplace: The Anchor Bar. It was a Thursday, and we arrived around 1pm. The parking lot was packed, but we were able to be immediately seated. Despite being named a bar, the anchor is really a restaurant and we were pleased with... More

Had dinner here with a couple of co-workers at an event we were at in Buffalo, NY. Upon arriving the parking was minimal, looked like a mom n pop shop but still interesting. The waitress was nice and very helpful. Menu was very plain and kind of expensive. They did have a live band playing that was really good and... More

Vacationed for my birthday and remembered this restaurant on Man vs Food so I had to try it out. The wings were the biggest I have ever seen and the cheese fries were amazing. It was modestly priced for lunch and I would definitely go again just because of the various wing sauces alone!

My wife and I stopped here as a pit stop on the way back from Canada on St.Patrick's day this year. I figured since this was a popular spot in buffalo they'd likely have some drink specials or I could at least get my traditional Irish car bomb and a green beer. Well I unfortunately was wrong on both, no... More

Went here while working on a job in Buffalo. Had heard a lot about it and we were not disappointed. The food was awesome and the atmosphere and service were great as well. Went back twice more and still pleased.

The atmosphere here is great. Iicense plates hanging all over the walls, motorcycles as decorations. Very eclectic but genuine unlike what some chain restaurants try to achieve. We had. 10 people in our party and ordered. 100 wings don 3 ways, hot, mild and BBQ. 2 huge pizzas and an antipasto salad that was like a mountain! Everything was so... More

Visited with a large group of about 15 business associates. We ordered four different wings in the big 50 wing bucket plus three pizzas. I would only say that the wings were average and the pizzas were less then average. The service was acceptable and the atmosphere was very nice. Overall o would rate the home of the Buffalo Chicken... More
