We were on Saturday 11th during Long Weekend. Thank`s God my husband decided to go there around 12 because we had waited only 50 min for entrance ;). So many people, driving plates from everywhere! My husband took ten wings with mild sauce. In fact there were more than 10, and they were absolutely perfect. I ordered Eggplant Parmigiane, just... More

I do not like their wings very much despite that I have tried twice at their airport branch. I would prefer to spend the same amount of money at the closest Cheesecake factory for a nice pasta. If you absolutely want to try it, I would strongly suggest that you share with at least one other person, and order a... More

Have tried many different places, Duffs, Michaels, Mr. B's, buffalo wild wing, all in Niagara falls ny, and buffalo. After many reviews, we decided to try anchor bar, since they are the original of wings. We got the mild sauce and their spicy bbq sauce, as that is all they have. I must say, wings.. The size was good. But,... More

Liked the restaurant. Lots of personality inside and the food was good. Several so different choices of wings plus burgers, salads sandwiches. Fun!

We have been visiting for the past 20-25 years on our own and with the kids. The quality of the food is spectacular and they have the wings down pat. No surprises always a fun bar, smiling friendly service and quick seating even when packed - as it was at 2pm on a Friday. If you love good 'ole American... More

As a true skeptic, my expectations were low just because of all the hype. I was pleasantly surprised. Of course we had to sample the wings and were not disappointed. Even the fries were pretty good. Don't expect to arrive and be seated. We made it a late lunch and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. That may have... More

Took my son to the Anchor Bar for wings following a Bills game. The food and atmosphere were great. Loved the motorcycles displayed throughout the place. My only caution is to be prepared to wait if you go on a Sunday following a Bills game.

Stayed in Buffalo overnight before returning home from a business trip. We had to have wings from the Anchor Bar...glad we did! The atmosphere was wonderful and food was just as good. We ordered the "Medium" wings, but could have managed the hot I'm sure. The beer was cold, the food was good, the staff was friendly...what more could you... More

The maitre d's were busy on their cell phones to acknowledge the customers arriving. After a few minutes-did acknowledge and sat us down. Our first waitress was great, but her shift was ending so we were handed off to another waitress. Our food came out fast and was delicious. Meanwhile maitre d's were busy talking about customers and trying to... More
