On our trip to Buffalo for SummerFunGirl's birthday shopping extravaganza, we decided on Hutch's for a special night out based on various internet reviews. Upon arrival the first thing that hit us was the noise...loud...Loud....LOUD chatter. The place was dimly lit and OK décor-wise and we were seated quickly and looked at the menu. Oh no...NONE of the dishes we... More

With great reluctance, I agreed make my first trip to Buffalo, having been convinced by friends to meet more friends. We arrived at our hotel at about 5pm. Immediately got ready for dinner at "Hitches? Hutches? Huh?" What an incredible surprise. Bar was quaint and crowded with bachelor-partiers interspersed with family patrons. Waited about 10 minutes for our table to... More

Great great food at Hutch's! Loved the atmosphere......busy and energetic......very professional and friendly staff. Busiest bar I have ever seen! A really good time was being had by all! The beet salad is fantastic, as is the Thai Calamari. Perfectly prepared steaks...........incredible dessert! Try Hutch's, can't imagine you'd be disappointed!

We checked with Trip Advisor, even though we are locals, to help us decide where to go one recent evening. Buffalo is blessed with a surprisingly good selection of great restaurants. We ended up going to Hutch's. It was outstanding. What is surprising is that the current Trip Advisor has Hutch's listed at number 16 in Buffalo, and that is... More

As usual, the Buffalo mentality makes a big to do about a place that is way overrated. Staff has attitude, atmosphere is much better at other places and food is not outstanding or special. It appears to be more of a place you brag abut going, but there is nothing upscale about it. Staff needs to drop the attitutde and... More

Dined at Hutch's after attending theater last night. My wife and I have gone here many times over the past thirty or so years, and the experience was once again what it has ALWAYS been: First Class. Hutch's never fails to provide a most satisfying dining experience. Wonderful salads (we chose Spinach this time), fine wines (a French Rhone blend... More

I made reservations for 815 pm, and got there around 805 pm. It was busy and they said there was a little wait, i was fine with that. After a hour and a half I was never seated!!!, and at 9:30ish I left. I understand maybe a 30 minute wait with reservation, but a hour and half. It is just... More

My wife and I have eaten here half a dozen times ovre the last few years. My recent meal here was memorable. At the bar, I had te best coldest martini that I have ever had, almost perfection. My second heaven moment here was the ribeye steak, best that I have ever had. All else was very good also.
