Another great little find in buffalo very vegan friendly

We had a great dinner more than reasonably priced we had all this and was less than 30 for 2 people . Don't expect a fine dining experience this is diner style and looks like they cater to a variety of people but possibly high university clients . started with the veggie chili just a heads up... read more

Tried Amy's Place during recent trip to Buffalo because some of our group is vegetarian and they have great veg. choices along with the rest of the menu. It was breakfast time on a Saturday and the place was packed, but the staff was very accommodating and cleared a table for us quickly. And the food is delicious, too.

What an icon Amy's Place has been in the University District. Twenty plus years and they have the tables chairs and perhaps some of the dirt from the first year. The line was almost out the door of the small entrance throughout our visit. The hostess/waitress could not have been nicer. Very sweet and genuinely cared about her customers. As... More

Have always loved this place. The funky crowd, decor and colorful staff are interesting. The food has changed and is not as good as I remember it from a couple of years ago. Server was fairly pleasant but kind of standoffish and unavailable. It was a little bit busy on that winter afternoon so that might be the reason. However,... More

Such a gem in Buffalo's University Heights district. Everything is so good, but I highly recommend the lentilberry wrap. It's ridiculously huge and delicious. Plan on bringing some home! And our server Kim was wonderful!

I recommend: lentil breakfast, biff sandwich, hummus, falafel, barb special, vegan french toast. Large menu, pretty much everything is good. Nice waitstaff. Very good value. Wow.

Not fancy, indifferent service, not much to look at, but the food is very fresh and tasty, and imaginatively spiced. Portions are large. Well worth coming in. Try the lentil soup !

Buffalo was the end point for our first day of the trip, so we were looking for a good vegetarian restaurant. We found Amy's online, and we really liked the idea that they would make anything on the menu in a vegan alternate, so we headed their way. Passing the front of the restaurant, we hesitated a bit. Turning the... More

We visited Amy's Place because we read about the vegan options, and we were not disappointed! Amy's will make almost any item on their menu vegan. We tried the vegan Margie, and it was amazing....WOW! The hummus sandwich was great (but the large version was HUGE....we took half in a to-go box). The chili was tasty , if you like... More

Awesome food, low prices and nice staff. Early specials are an added bonus on the breakfast specials too!
