We have been going to this restaurant for several years, kroy, the new owner and long time rue chef has really outdone himself. The fall menu is innovative, delicious, beautiful, one of a kind! The food kroy serves can rival New York City restaurants and put toronto restaurants to shame. He is talented, creative and runs a most impressive restaurant.... More

Been visiting here since it was a folk music coffee house serving french meals once a week. (48 years ago). Our last visit was for a birthday party with a table of eight. Everyone loved their food, and the service perfect.

The atmosphere was great - it felt like being in a quaint courtyard in Paris. The service was good and the food was very good.

I contacted the restaurant to ask if they had soft shell crab... The chef offered that the season was passing, but he would check with his fish monger and get back to me.... within thirty minutes, he called to say that he would obtain six for me. During a conversation earlier in the year, I had asked about when sweetbreads... More

There's no place like the Rue to celebrate. Corey did an outstanding job coming up with an interesting/delicious menu for a party of 18. Everyone was happy.

I'm a local resident and have dined at Rue many times. The food is creative (not in a silly way) and very well prepared. Ambience is refined: tastefully decorated and without loud music (thank you Rue). Service is friendly and unobtrusive. We love the intimate bar which greets us and the gorgeous garden which is now, finally, in bloom. I... More

The Rue Franklin is a fine restaurant, featuring French cuisine. It is not overly large, with two seating areas flanking a small bar area. Service is excellent as is the food, with seasonal menus. We have dined for over thirty years now at Rue Franklin on special occasions and with special friends. In summer, there is outdoor seating in a... More

My husband didn't want to go, having been disappointed with this restaurant previously. I had never been, so I insisted. He was right... I had a poached lobster dish and learned that lobster is grilled for a reason, it's best that way. The dish was extremely bland, almost tasteless. My husband and son were underwhelmed with their entrees. On a... More
