It is a great gastric experience.

Amazing and transporting experience. Love the old European feeling. Several different resting options. Go for outside If available. You feel like in an old French home back yard. The servers are great with true to the locale character. Breana was wonderful and sweet. Big smile and genuine... read more

Amazing and transporting experience. Love the old European feeling. Several different resting options. Go for outside If available. You feel like in an old French home back yard. We went with great anticipation as my daughter and son-law raved about Rue Franklin. They were correct as far as the food was concerned we ordered several appetizers and 4 different main courses . They were all excellent. However the service was unacceptable. The table did not enough set-ups. We had to wait quite a while to order and even... More

One of our favorite Buffalo restaurants, we had the pleasure of dining there recently and it was as wonderful as every other time we have Had the occasion to visit. We had requested outdoor dining, but the evening weather was not at all conducive to it so we were seated in the room adjacent to the garden. It was comfortable... More

We have dined at "The Rue" two or three times a year for a long time. Saturday night, we had hoped to be seated in their wonderful garden patio, but couldn't because of the heavy rains. Instead, we were seated inside at a table looking out onto the rain-drenched garden. We both started with house salads with mustardy French dressing.... More

We read tita955's review before committing to RFW-- and should have taken it to heart. I agree in every way with the assessment. It took 10 minutes to be seated in a virtually EMPTY restaurant. The guy in charge of "seating" appeared to have had great difficulty with the electronic seating chart on a monitor. (Sometimes things are just better... More

Seemed like a quiet Friday night in this place, but I have no idea why, because this place is a gem! Service: Since it wasn't crowded, our large group of 10 got a good bit of attention. Waiter was super knowledgable of the menu, and recommended dishes as needed. Food: I had the halibut and my friends had a wide... More

I do not understand the high rating this restaurant gets since the new ownership. In the first place the service is very indifferent and certainly not friendly. We found the food just ok but certainly not worth the price. The best thing was the bread which actually comes from Tops and you can buy it there unbaked and it is very good quite... The fine ingredients and utmost attention to detail are consistent here. Buffalo is lucky to have Chef/Owner Corey Kley and his staff - the prix fixe and tasting menus are seasonal so we always have a variety to choose from. Can't wait til the weather warms up so we can enjoy the beautiful garden setting for our next visit!

Rue Franklin was the location for our post-valentines day dinner. The service was attentive and the food wonderful. The meal began with bread and I began my meal with tuna tartar and had scallops as my main course. My husband had the cheese platter and filet minon for dinner. All of it was deliciously prepared. The atmosphere was a bit... More
