My favorite meal here is a 3 to 6 oysters followed by sashimi, (usually the 5 fishes 5 flavors ). The cocktail specials at Seabar are also very very good. During our last visit their special was seafood tacos, wonderful. Make reservations several days ahead as it is very crowded, especially when touring Broadway musicals are at Shea's .

Sushi here was good (not great) and there was a large selection, with some innovative selections. Service was excellent, but in terms of entrees, there was not much to choose from, and no one in our party could say much positive. It is also very loud, as the bar gets crowded, even on weeknights. Finally, it was very pricey. That... More

We started our dinner with two Sushi Rolls - the Beef on Weck and Miso Carmel Crab Rolls. The Beef on Weck is a take on the Beef on Kimmelweck roll that you can only find in Buffalo. The rolls invokes all of the same flavors with Roast Beef wrapped around the sushi rice with caraway seeds and salt sprinkled... More

I had lunch here with my family and wow! It was delicious. We started with the beef on weck sushi and it was some of the best sushi I've ever had. I also had the fish tacos which were an amazing mix of flavor with lots of fish. They were almost sweet. My Mom, who is not the sushi kind,... More

I was in the mood for Sushi last night, and decided to visit Seabar on Ellicott Street here in Buffalo. The menu has a wide variety of offerings, if you're looking for oriental type food. I had the Chicken and Shrimp Shu Mai as a starter, but couldn't decide on an entree. I wanted Sushi, so decided on their Tiger... More

There's nothing noteworthy about this restaurant. They have a vast menu and the food is good, but omg what is with the lights fading from one color to the next? Everyone at our table complained about that. Would go back but I think there are better sushi joints in Buffalo.

If you are planning a stop at Sea Bar, consider going for lunch. Only at lunchtime, Sea Bar serves the BEST cheeseburger of all time. No joke. But only at lunch. In addition to great sushi and terrific lunch specials, try chef Mike A.'s twist on beef on weck roll. A taste sensation !! For dessert the tempura banana split... More

My first time at Seabar a year ago I encountered a rude bartender. Exceptionally rude. I have since visited 4 times, and have only had perfect courteous service since. Their lunch specials have a lot of food at a good price (for high quality sushi), I recommend a reservation.
